One fine afternoon, back in the good ole years of the 70s, invites you and your husband out for a nice drive...

--------------------------

You gasped as you saw the sparkling sea glitter in the sunlight. "It's so beautiful, Bunta!"

For the anniversary of your's and Bunta's marriage, he took the chance to take you out for a nice drive. Just in time, he was able to finish the rest of work on his beloved Toyota 2000GT. That car was his everything, well... besides you. He worked on it day and night just to get its engine to start. You don't know how he pulled it off, but now we was driving it on the winding roads leading up to the ocean.

You peeked out the window of the striking car as you watched in awe of the ocean. Today especially it looked surreal. Gorgeous blue waves crashed upon the shore with rippling foam. Just up the road, a small town crowded the tip of the peninsula it laid on.

"I'm glad you like it." Bunta smiled, his hands gripping the steering wheel tight.

"I've never seen an ocean so full of life."

"Maybe it's because you're here," cheekily chuckling at his remark as you nodded your head along.

Once Bunta approached town, he slowed down as he reached the main streets. He found a parking spot on the side of a road that was lined with what was almost like a million cars.

This place seems like it attracts a lot of tourists. You used your hand to cover the shining sun, the star of this blue bird day. You met Bunta in front of his 2000GT practically gleaming in all of its glory.

"You ready?"

"Yup!" you quickly replied and hooked your arm around his. The two of you promptly walked together down the main sidewalk.

"Do you wanna go on the boardwalk first or go eat?" Bunta asked, walking the same pace as you.

"I'm a bit hungry. Let's eat first!"

Bunta walked you in the direction of a restaurant on the corner of a street. It was live with music and conversations. It looked quite busy. "Table for two," Bunta asked the hostess to which she led the way to a small table in a corner.

You quickly grabbed the menu and skimmed over each meal listed on it. "Wow, there's shrimp, tuna, and even an octopus dish!"

"That's the reason why I like going here to eat is because of their interesting dishes. And they have good tofu..."

"You and your tofu. I will never get your love for tofu."

He simply shrugged and continued looking at the menu. The both of you decided to share a plate of food consisting of tofu and an assortment of sea food that sounded good.

"Here you go!" The waiter said, setting down the plate in the middle of us. You both gave him a small 'thanks' before digging in.

"Wow this is incredibly good!" You mumbled between bites. Bunta nodded along, stuffing his face with too much calamari.

...

The both of you walked out of the restaurant hand in hand, "Gosh, I am so stuffed," you laughed, patting your stomach.

"I could say the same," Bunta joined in, smiling once again.

You turned to look at Bunta, the sun shining on his face. No doubt he was a handsome guy with a huge passion for cars. His smile was always so caring and his eyes always crinkled shut whenever he smiled too hard. The cute things about him really made you love him even more.

"Let's go to the boardwalk. It has a nice view at the very end of it." Bunta took lead once again, dragging you around a couple corners and onto the beach.

You happily trailed along, taking off your sandals when you reached the white sand. "Ooo the sand is so soft," you said, digging your toes in.

"This beach is known for the soft sands and the cool ocean. That's why I like coming here."

"Ooo! Is that the boardwalk?" You pointed over to the wooden pier that extended beyond the coast and into the ocean. It was raised upon large stilts so the waves crashed softly onto them.

"Yup."

"Well what are you waiting for! C'mon!" You excitedly tugged on his hand, this time taking lead. You quickly ran through the sand and on to the beginning of the pier.

Your sundress whisked gently in the ocean breeze. The afternoon sun radiated on your figure that made you look like you were the only human here. Your smile brought Bunta out of his trance just thinking about you. He always appreciated you whenever he got the chance.

Once you reached the wooden planks of the pier, you slipped your sandals back on and walked at a more slow pace. Bunta kept with your stride. The two of you kept on strolling down the pier. There were a lot of people hanging on the pier either taking pictures or looking at the ocean below.

The end of the pier was rounded so you could get a whole view of the ocean. You stood at the edge, gripping the railing tight. "Look at the view!" A big smile filled your whole face as the ocean expanded just to the horizon. A beautiful blue sea cast with a ray of sunlight was a breathtaking view.

You soon noticed Bunta wasn't next to you. You looked to your left, then your right but then turned around. Your lover stood several feet back with a camera close to his eyes.

"Pose for me, dear!" Bunta asked, getting ready to take a photo of you. You quickly straightened your sundress and smiled. A quick little flash and the photo started developing.

Each anniversary, Bunta always took a picture of you to keep. He even has a memory box that included love letters the two of you sent when the both of you first fell in love. Now it's full of photos of the two of you each year of the anniversary. Another one to add to the collection.

After he took out the brand new Polaroid, you quickly ran up to him and gave him a hug and a peck on his cheek. "I love you."

...

On the drive back home, you watched the sun set on the ocean horizon. You had the greatest day today however something still lingered, "What's the name of this place?"

Bunta thought for a moment, "Akina Beach, and just over the mountains is where the center of Gunma is."

"Gunma? Wow, you drove all the way out here. That's a good couple hour drive. I hadn't even noticed!"

"Time flies when ur spending time with your loved ones," he chuckled.

You nodded along, "That's true."

Bunta took a long sigh, hesitating to ask something, "Would you like to move out to Gunma?"
