There you where standing in front of xingqui as your eye twitched from the smart comment he said to you. He was sarcastically flirting with you after you said something about his book.
You didn't even remember giving your name to him but he just said it so normal. As you guessed Paimon said something about your name and talked about you. And he thought of you as a friend now, but you didn't really like the idea well because he has a smart mouth.,Like yourself.
"We gonna fight one day I swear"
"Oh I can't wait!, Whens the date and time?"
" The next time I see your face around here where fighting on sight"
You harshly grabbed Aethers hand and stormed off with him. Unknowing that Xingqui was giggling the hole time.
The both of you walked into an area where a bunch of people where crowded up. Standing into a corner calming yourself down as Aether rubbed your shoulders helping you as well. You whined from the feeling as you looked threw the crowd putting Aethers hand off you.
Watching as the sky started to grow gray, You couldn't see what happened not even standing on your tippy-toes could help. But soon as you heard to word "Rex Lapis " it had ranged a bell.
"This is the Zhongli and Childe mission..."
You said thinking to yourself as a large thing? Fell from the sky as again you couldn't see what was happening. As Aether was slightly taller then you and he had to get on his tippy-toes to see as well. His face dropped as he grabbed your arm and started pulling you away.
"We have to go now"
You nodded your head as the both of you jumped the fence creeping behind the bushes avoiding being seen by the guards. You didn't even bother asking why as your already knew the reason. Aether stepped on the leaf as it crushed making a sound. Aether grabbed you picking you up and putting you on his side quickly. As he side down the stairs nearly falling as the guards ran behind him.
You nearly fell off Aether as he put you behind him pulling out his sword as the guards had the 2 of you cornered. Standing up quickly about the throw a hit at someong. Soon 3 blue shining light came flying threw the air hitting 3 of the guards weapons out of there hands.
"Hold on Girlie--, Hold still"
A tall ginger headed male came onto the stair case slashing the guards down with his flowing blue blades. Just in a matter of seconds the guards where on the floor defeated. The sound alerted the guards up front at they came running down the stair.
"C'me lets go"
The male said as yourself and Aether ran behind him.

Your hands where on your knees as you where gravely tired from the running as Aether helped you up.
"Phew! Paimons exhausted..."

Paimon said cutting herself off as the three of you looked at the tall ginger headed male.

"Childe? What, so we're supposed to dote on you?"
Paimon asked as she put her hands on her hips tilting her head to the side.
"Haha, No not at all , its just an alias of sorts."
" But In Mondstandt, I don't suppose you came across a "Signora" by any chance?"
"Hm?" You thought as you fixed yourself.

Paimon closely shouted as Aether put his hand in front of you slightly pulling you behind him.
"No, Don't worry I'm not looking for a fight"

You thought as Childe crossed his arms looking down on the 3 of you.

Aether said putting his hand down from aside from you slightly.

Childe started to explain the situation of dying dragon back from before.
