You heard the little change in Aethers voice as it was kinda odd. Maybe a glitch? Aether and Paimon both got up from there chairs.
"Hey Paimon thinks we should tell jean about this!"
"What do you mean by that Paimon?"
"Ya know~ How Y/n is joining our adventure and maybe join the Knights of Favonius like you!"
"Yeah, but Y/n do you have any type of fighting skills?"
"No I do not-"
"Well Paimon thinks we could maybe train-
"No thats fine I can protect Y/n!"
You looked at Aether in a weird way but changed it soon as his eyes moved to yours again.
"Does he have a staring problem or something?"
You gave him a small smile before getting up from your seat. You looked around more as you heard a males voice yell from afar.
"SOMEONE HELP THE HILICHURLS ARE ATTACKING"
Aether sat up quickly before saying.
"Come on lets go!"
You quickly sat up as Aether ran ahead and paimon flew next to him and you follow ahead running. The 3 of you ran outside of mondstandt and onto the bridge running to the end of it to be facing 3 Hilichurls.
Your eyes widen as you now see what your mains have to face everyday. Up closed you really wanted to punch it in the face of how it looks but you knew your combat was not to good. I mean you didn't try to find out if you had powers right now. Aethers sword appeared as he prepared for battle. In a flash of a moment he quickly took out the Hilichurls.
You nearly looked shook as you saw the slightly blood onto Aethers sword. You never seen blood on the monsters in the game so maybe its just another glitch.
"Woah! You've become so much stronger!"
Paimon said smiling and spinning around in the air, "How cute" You thought to yourself as you faced Aether.
"Its starting to look past Dusk we should head home"
You didn't even notice the setting sun as your attention onto aether fighting.
"Paimon agrees! C'me on Y/n!"
Paimon took your hand as you nearly had to run along with Paimon flying. Aether ran up to the next of you both.
"Paimon do you even remember where we stay at?"
" Nope!"
Aether sighed and shook his head as he walked ahead the both of you.
(Wait where do they even stay at? )
The 3 of you arrive to a large area with houses you seem to guess but build just like apartments, it even had stairs.
You guys reach the top of the stairs and it seemed to be 3 story's high. Aether unlocked the wooden door with a golden key. The smell of wood filled your nose as it looked like your teapot house but a little smaller.
Paimon flew to a chair and sat down rubbing her eyes.
"Paimons sleepy"
"Hey Paimon where you okay with Y/n sleeping with you?"
"What?! Why can't they sleep with you!, Paimon needs there space ya'know!"
"I'm sorry Y/n if you dont feel comfortable sleeping next to me I could make-"
"No, No its fine I dont mind!"
You cut Aether off with as you have off a slightly weird small smile.
"Well Paimon says goodnight!"
Paimon said as she flew to her room closing the door shut. Aether shook his head from Paimons actions as he lit a few candles to put in a lamp to light up the place.
"I'll get you something to wear for tonight"
Aether said before walking to the other room across the hall from Paimons room. You slowly walked into the bedroom with Aether as he handed you a pair of tan night pants and a matching long sleeve shirt.
"Just tell me when your done.."
Aether said leaving the room and closing the door leaving you to get dress.
You start to take your clothes off as you look around the room more. It was a plane room with a brown desk with books and paper on it. A bed that looks maybe queen sized if you could guess but it looked slightly smaller.
You finished getting dressed as the clothing was thin and comfortable.
"You can come in now!"
You said slightly shouting after a few seconds Aether came back into the room in his sleepwear. You climb onto the bed, You notice Aether started to lay on the floor a side from the bed.
"Wait you didn't have to sleep on the floor, I don't mind if you come onto the bed.. with me.."
" Are you sure?"
".... Yeah I'm sure.."
Aether walked over to the lamp across the room and blew out the candle before laying into the bed next to you. You went under the covers as Aether did the same.
