Hiding Her

The girl sat in her room, looking at the dim light bulb. She smiled as she heard the whistling of the night birds and the howling of wolves just outside her home. She felt sick and cold; like she could no longer continue another day. But she forced it as always.

Forced a smile,

Forced the love for life,

Forced the fantasies she had to see the outside,

Forced the fascination for nature.

It's not like she had a choice anyway. Life gave her none. She doesn't know where to start. Her soul has been torn out of her too many times. She counted the times she hurt the people she loved with her emotions.

Her feelings, she didn't want them to matter. They just wanted to smash everything she had built up, apart. Every aching sound and lie in her heart.

I don't need you,

Please go away,

It's for the best,

I don't love you,

I don't care about you.

She distances herself from everyone without even realizing it, finding it harder and harder to socialize each day. She was tired of hearing that everything was gonna get better. Lies, repeatedly that they expected to fill the dark dept in her heart.

Now everyone's finding it harder to help her....she's finding it harder to hide everything.

All she wants is to make sure everyone is alright.

Sometimes even forced the emotions down, cause they didn't matter. A thousand thoughts cross her mind, but her subconscious did not know which one to settle on.

Her obsessions,

Her attachment issues,

Her messed up mind,

Her terrible life,

Dying and leaving it all.

I mean, why not? Not like there was anything much to live for. It's not understandable to them how she can't live on without their presence, their aura. She's known them for so long.

She giggles at everything, and people call her crazy. But it's her lost emotions on edge. Those were not laughs, those were the pure pain in her voice. The gleam in her eyes was never charming. It was a depleted pool of tears generating in her crazed heart, where she kept on lock.

She looks up at the sky and smiles.

She's angry and they would've never known, no one would.

She's a child at heart, but now she's growing up, it's all going too fast.

Her love for everyone who loves her back, she needs it to last forever.

She's slowly fading, and everyone's now helpless and tired.

Everything is now going wrong and she's locked shut in the dark without a torch.

Attention's wanted but never properly given, but she says it's all okay, it wasn't needed.

Her lost feelings, her dark soul.

She losing, and no one knows.
