Chapter 3

~Maddie's POV~
We're back at Stacy's house. We were going to watch Mean Girls, but Chad said he didn't want to so we're watching The Hang Over pt 3.
Stacy has one big ass TV.  Her family buy her lots of things to make up for her dad leaving, when she was eight. But she doesn't want any of it.
We eat,drink and watch the film. Chad had his arm around my shoulder the whole time.

Well the movie hasn't long finished.We cleaned the bowls and cup away.
"I think I should go."Chad said
"Yeah.See you later." I smiled.
He quickly kissed me on the lips,but it didn't feel the same he then left.
Me and Stacy got more snacks then we watched Mean Girls.
I lay on the sofa,resting my head on Stacy's leg.We had been friends since we where two and we have been through so much together,so we're more like sisters than best friends.
"What's wrong,Mads?"She asked.
Where to start?
" Pretty much,everything. "I told her.
" I have all day bud."She said.
So I told her about Luke,she already knew all that anyway.I told her about the kiss me and Chad just shared, that it didn't feel the same.I normally get butterfly's or something but today nothing.
"What are we gonna do with you, Mads?"She said.
" I don't know."I said back.
A couple of hours later and some films.
"Its nine .I better go home,I been out since eleven this morning. And I still have to have dinner." I told her.
We said are goodbyes and had a goodbye hug and I went.
I only live five minutes up the road, probably not even that.

~Luke's POV~
Well it just went 1.00am. We're still at Michael's house, it's late but I really went to go and tell Madison everything,including the reason I broke up with her... She needs to know.
"Guys.I'm going to Maddie's to see if she wants to talk." I told them.
"You go get her." Shouted Calum.
"Say hey from me!" Called Michael.
I just went,I headed for the next street,where she lives.
As I walked along the dark street with only the street lights showing me where I was going,I was thinking how I could do this without waking the whole house hold up.
She's not a morning person, if I remember right. She was never in a good mood on a school mornings .So waking her up is a risky thing to do.

I got to her house it still looked the same. All the lights are off and the curtains closed.
I could see the dim light what must be coming from her tv,well I hope its still her room.
I then get some pebbles from her drive and throw them at her window. Ten minutes or so late the window opens to revival Maddie in the moon light.

~Maddies POV~
I have been thinking of Luke and I shouldn't,I had the TV on.
I was almost asleep when I heard taps on my window.
So I got out of bed and opened it,to see Luke standing there in the night air. We exchanged small smiles to each other.
"Luke.What are you doing? Its one in the morning." I said.
"I wanted to talk to you. It never bothered you before." He said.
"That was ages ago,it bothers me now.And what about? We've done all are talking." I told him.
"No we really haven't." He said like a boy who lost his mum in the store.
"What else is there for you to tell me?" I asked.
"Why." He simple said.
The word that's been going around my head,for almost a year.Why he broke up with me.
"What's in it for you?" I asked.
"You knowing the truth." He said.
"Two seconds." I said, closing the window.
I ran around my room, I brush my hair,put my brothers grey hoodie on it too big for me,but I love it. He's in uni at the moment,he won't mind.
I put my flip flops on,grabbed my phone for some reason and ran down the stairs.
I unlocked the front door and quietly go out, closing it behind me.
Luke was already sat on the swing seat what was on the porch. I go and sat down by him.
We don't talk or look at each other for a moment.

Whooo what's going to happen? What is going to be said? How will she react?
