Marcanne - Happy Birthday Marcy!

Note: this was a month before they got transported to Amphibia

It was a perfect day, the sun was shining through the cloudy sky as the leaves flew in the breeze. Anne was still asleep on her bed as her alarm went off.

"Five more.. minutes" Anne said half asleep. Her alarm kept going off. Anne turned around and picked up her phone to stop the alarm. "Oh my god.."

Marcy was sitting at her desk in her room while chewing on a pencil. "Hmm.." she hummed. She was writing down something when she heard her doorbell ring. "I'll get it!!" She yelled and ran downstairs to open the door.

"Hey girlfriend!"
"Hi Sasha!.." "wait why are you here right now?" Marcy asked.
"Well duh it's your birthday." Sasha said.
"Ohhh yeahh.. I forgot about that.. heh." Sasha rolled her eyes playfully and looked at the paper in Marcy's hand.
"Are you really doing work on your birthday?" Marcy looked at the paper in her hand and remembered she forgot to put it down .
"Ohh uhhmm.. noo it's uh nothing.."
"Cmon give me it i'll keep it for now" Sasha said as she tried to take it from Marcy's hand."
"WAI-" Sasha already had took it in her hand and crumpled it in her pocket.
"You can't be writing AT ALL on your birthday! It's a waste of time." Marcy nervously chuckled.
"Yeah but it's kind of important.."
"Nonsense! Now, i'll text Anne to meet us at the ice cream shop."
"..ok."

Anne was getting ready while thinking. "I can't believe I almost forgot about Marcy's birthday." she muttered. Her thoughts stopped as her phone buzzed. She grabbed her phone and looked at the texts.

Sasha the queen 👑 9:07 am
Girl where are you?
Anna banana 9:08 am
I'm getting ready, I slept in 😅

Well hurry up we're going to
the ice cream shop downtown

Anna banana 9:08 am

Anne put down her phone and continued getting ready. After she got ready she went downstairs and put a piece of toast her mom made for her in her mouth.

"Where are you going?" Mrs. Boonchuy asked. Anne turned around.
"I'm going to meet up with Sasha and Marcy." She said to her mom with her mouth full.
"But you need to eat more."
"I'm getting food while i'm out"
"Fine, just don't get in trouble and stay safe"
"Ok mom I know"
"Ok bye I love you"
"Love you mom!" Anne said as she walked out the door.

Anne headed for a shop to get Marcy a gift before they went to the shop. "What would marcy like.." She thought to herself. She looked around a bit and found a really cute notebook with sparkles and cute stickers for her to put on the pages.

"Perfect!" She said as she walked to the cash register. She paid then headed for the ice cream shop.

Marcy POV

Sasha and I were waiting by the ice cream shop for Anne. I kept taking glances at the paper crumpled in Sasha's pocket. "Well I guess i'll have to wait until later to finish it and give it to Anne.." I thought to myself.

"Hey guys!" Anne shouted like 20 feet away. I was stunned for a second with a very light blush on my cheeks. I shook it off and waited for her to come over here.

"Hi Anne!" I said
"Hey girl!" Sasha said. Anne slowed down as she got a bit closer. I could tell she ran here because she was out of breath.
"Sorry I was a bit late, I had to get Marcy a gift and wrap it." She said in between breaths.
"It's ok girl, we were waiting out here for a while though." "Right Marcy?" ... "Marcy? Girl? Snap out of it!" I realized I zoned out while thinking.
"Ah! Sorry about that!"
"It's ok Mar Mar!" Anne said

We walked inside the ice cream shop and went to the counter to order. Sasha always ordered for us so she was in front of Anne and I. "What would you like girls?" Sasha asked.
"I'll take chocolate" Anne said.
"I'll have.. mint" I said.

Sasha ordered for us and we went to a table. We sat down and started talking. "Marcy, what were you writing on the paper before I got to your house?" Sasha asked after a while.
"Oh uh it was mm.. nothing! Nothing at all!"
"Mhm.." "can I read it?" Sasha took it out of her pocket.
"NO!" I took it from Sasha's hand and put it in my pocket. "Sorry.."
"Whatever it's fine"

After we were done eating our ice cream we headed out of the shop. "Where are we going next?" I asked being the curious person I am.
"It's a surprise Mar Mar!"
"Aww you know I hate surprises"
"We'll be there soon don't worry"
"Okayy"

We arrived at some kind of theme park after about 10 minutes of walking. "Oooh a theme park?"
"Yep!"
"So cool!" I said as I started walking around.
"Marbles! Watch out!" Anne caught me as I almost fell in the water for a water ride.
"Oops.. haha" I said with a blush on my cheeks.
"Now cmon let's move girlfriends!" Sasha said.

After a long day at the theme park we decided to go to Anne's house for a sleepover. We headed up to her bedroom and sat on the floor. Anne's cat Domino came to us and sat on Anne's lap as she pet it.

"I'm gonna go get us some snacks" Anne said and started heading to her kitchen downstairs.
I must've been staring because Sasha suddenly said "You wish you were Domino huh?" My face got really red.
"Huh!? Whattt nooo.."
"Yeah ok.."

I looked at Sasha after my blush cleared away. I realized she was reading my note. "H-HEY!"
"Ohh you definitely like Anne" she said with a smirk.
"W-well.. uhm.." ... "fine you win whatever." I said with a faint blush.

"Girl you have to tell her! Omg you guys would be so cute together"
"I'm not gonna tell her yet.."
"Then i'll just tell her for ya!"
"W-what!?"
"Yeah! You won't so I will!"
"B-but-" Anne walked in as she was saying that.

"Oh hey watcha guys talking about?" Anne said as she walked in the room with snacks.
"Well uh-"
"Marcy has something to tell you!"
"Wha-"
"You do?" Anne asked.
"No..." I said as Sasha rolled her eyes.
"Mar mar you know you could tell me anything!"
"Anything?"
"Yup!"
"We-well uhm.. I.. uhm.." I stammered. I looked around and realized Sasha was gone.

Anne was staring at me waiting for an answer.
"I LIKE YOU!" I blurted out and covered my mouth.
Anne's eyes got wide and my face was flushed. "S-sorry i'll leave.." I said as I started to run out. Anne grabbed my arm before I could leave.

"Huh.." I looked behind me and Anne was smiling softly.
"I like you too Mar mar" she said with a blush on her cheeks. My eyes got teary and I hugged her tightly.

"OMG THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!" Sasha interrupted.
"Wow, way to ruin the moment Sash" Anne said jokingly. We all giggled for a few minutes.

It was 3:45 in the morning and we were all tired. "So.. we not staying up all night tonight?" Anne asked. Sasha and I agreed.

We got in our sleeping bags. I was cold and Anne must've seen me shivering because she asked if I wanted to sleep in her sleeping bag with her.
"Sure" I responded with a faint blush on my cheeks.
