Chapter 7 - "Why did you leave?"

I couldn't believe it. Really.. Everything about Healer Cookie was so familiar. The way he talks, smiles, cares for everyone, and now his eyes. This all could NOT be a coincidence. It was Pure Vanilla Cookie.

I ran to Herb's house. But he did not answer. Instead of that, Pure Vanilla did. I pushed him onto the wall, angry as never.

"Why did you run away.?" - I whispered, almost hitting him in anger.

I never thought I wouldn't be able to control my feelings. I was just so mad that he left me here with no explenation.

"[insert name cookie] Cookie.. what.. I'm.. sorry.." - he mumbled, suprised by my anger.

"I did not ask for an apologize, I asked why did you left?!" - I yelled, hearing Herb Cookie wake up and go around his room. I heard him trip, so I assumed he was walking in pitch black darkness.

"I'm.. please, stop, let's sit in the living room and I'll explain it all." - he whispered.

When we sat in the living room, Herb came out with a weapon. It was.. a metal stick. We froze in place, terrfied that he would hurt us, but instead he gasped.

"[insert name cookie] Cookie! What are you doing here?! I almost crumbled! You scared me so much!"

His eyes went into the direction of Pure Vanilla. His face changed from mad to sad and worried.

"So.. you know, Y'n.." - He mumbled.

"Herb?! So you knew too?!" - I yelled, confused of what is going on.

"Y'n, we planned to tell you.."

I sighed. "How long did you know?"

"He told me the same day he stayed in the house.."

"Yeah, you know, guys, I will be leaving now." - I said.

"No, Y'n, please stay, we will explain everything..!" - Pure Vanilla grabbed me by my hand, but I snatched it from him. I looked at him so angry, he looked at the floor, mumbling something I couldn't hear.

"I trusted you both. Herb, why didn't you tell me as soon as possible? Aren't you aware that we would have gone on another tiring journey to find Pure Vanilla? And you.." - I looked at Pure Vanilla with disgust. "If you wanted to leave me so badly, why didn't you do it?"

He opened his mouth, trying to say something, but I heard nothing. He closed his mouth and walked to his bedroom. Herb looked at me with disappointment and anger in his eyes, opening the door for me.

"Leave. You know how much he is stressed?"

I walked out. I couldn't believe that the two of my dearest friends I knew for so long just wanted me to leave. It was my fault too, though. I said what I thought about them. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. I took a last look at their house and slowly walking off to mine, still unable to process what I just did. When I opened the door, Rose laid infront of me, wanting cuddles, but when she noticed that I was down, she looked at me with sadness. When I laid on my bed she immedately jumped onto me, hugging me with her head.

Atleast I had one best friend I could trust, I guess.
