"Ladies and Gentlemen please fasten your seatbelts as we prepare for landing in Mallorca, Spain" the captain spoke over the intercom of the private jet we were on. We were currently on our way to spend 3 weeks to shoot Shawn's new song "Summer of Love" aboard the plane was just myself, Shawn, Andrew (Shawn's manager), Shawn's security team, and his stylist. The rest of the crew was hired and lives in Spain and will help with the production of the video. The 1st week the crew is going to plan and setup filming locations with the follow week reserved for shooting of the video and the last week is built in as a buffer in case we run into production issues and if we wrap on time the team can relax before we head back to LA.
"Damn it is so beautiful here" Shawn says
"I know this is gonna be perfect for the video!" I say. It wasn't long before we landed and I was sitting next to Shawn in the back of the black Escalade on the way to the hotel.
We arrived at the hotel and went to check in at the hotel. I approached the desk and handed my ID and info to the receptionist. She glanced at me and slide my information back to me and said "I'm sorry sir we appear to be booked up and don't have a rooms for your whole crew we are short a room."
"That can't be we reserved 8 rooms in advance for the crew!" I explain to her
"I'm sorry sir there is nothing I can do we are sold out right now." She says.
Shawn steps forward and being the kind gentleman he is states "Thats not a problem can you please make a copy of my room card for a Connor he will be staying in my suite"
"Thanks Shawn" I look up slightly at him as he is a few inches taller than me.
"Right away Mr. Mendes" the receptionist says and she hands me the key card.
We make it to the suite as Shawn and I enter and it is huge has a kitchenette, large king size bed by the balcony over looking the ocean, a large marble bathroom with a huge tub and walk-in shower, and lastly a common area in front of the king size bed with a table and couch with a 65" tv in front of it. I put my bag down by the couch and say "well looks like I'm crashing on your couch for the next few weeks!"
"No you aren't we can share the bed plenty of room and doesn't make sense for you to be on that small couch." He says firmly as if he wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Are you sure you don't mind?" I ask being polite but loving the fact I will get to share a room with Shawn.
"Absolutely not I hope you don't mind I sleep naked" he jokes knowing he wouldn't actually sleep naked with me in his bed (yet 😈).
"Haha I usually sleep naked too" I joke back. "So what's the latest with you and Camilla last I heard there was some trouble in paradise" I ask
"Ugh ya so you promise not to say anything to anyone this stays between us as best friends but we are in a break. I caught her cheating on me with Charlie Puth. We haven't broken up publicly yet because obviously our managers wanted us together in the first place for publicity but I have zero feeling left for her." Shawn says
"I'm so sorry Shawn that must hurt but you deserve someone who makes you happy and you can be yourself with. Your management need to stay out of your personal life and who you date it shouldn't matter." I say "But damn sorry I feel like a cockblock now crashing with you while you are in Spain single!" I jokingly say
"Haha no I would rather you crash with me and keep me company than some random hookup" he says "What about you Con? Any cute guys in your life right now?" He says turning it back on me.
I blush and say "nope I'm single as a Pringle right now! Too busy making you look good on camera to focus on my love life"
"Well you certainly are good at doing that" he laughs "Are you up for a quick shoot right now this bathroom is amazing I was thinking we could do a photo shoot of me in the shower?" Shawn asks
"Damn I'm in the room 5 minutes and you already want to strip out of all your clothes in front of me" I flirtatiously comment
"What can I say you have that effect on me" Shawn banters back.
"Alright start the shower and I will grab my camera and meet you there in a minute." I say
