14. The Fighting

Everleigh's P.O.V

   I get up and grab my ukulele and set up my camera. I start playing one of the songs I wrote and sing along. Once I'm done I get on live with Will, Toby, Tom, Ranboo, and everyone else from the dsmp. "Hey guys." I say happily. "Hello." They all say. We start doing bits and making each other laugh until I hear my parents screaming. "No, fuck you!" I hear my mom scream. "Eva." Will says before clearing his throat. I mute myself and just continue mining. I only unmute to do short little bits. "Honestly though, pandas are really cute." Toby says randomly. "They really are, They're my favorite animal." I say unmuting myself. "Eva what's going on over there?" Tom asks. "My parents are just fighting a little bit, this rarely happens." I say giving them a small smile. I hear glass shatter and mute turning around scared. "The fuck was that?" Tom asks laughing. "Oh um I think my cat knocked over a vase." I say lying.

   After a little while my dad starts banging on my door. "Open the fucking door!" He yells. I'm muted so I don't worry about it to much. I rub my face stressed but try to ignore it. Every time I hear the loud bang I jump a little. "Are you okay?" Will asks. I nod and smile. "Dad I'm live!" I yell. "I don't give a damn." He yells. "Okay guys, I got to go. I'll be back on in a moment." I say ending the stream and getting off the vc. I open my door and he starts screaming at me for leaving a knife in the sink. "I'll literally go fucking wash it right now but when I came to my room I made sure I washed everything!" I yell back. "You're getting to fucking mouthy, there's no need to be such a fucking cunt. You're exactly like your mother." He yells. "No dad, I'm not like either of you! I fucking hate you both." I say. He pushes me to the ground and starts choking me as he screams in my face. My mom runs in and separates us. "Jesus do you not know how to get along with anyone!" She yells at me. "It's not my fault!" I say trying to defend myself. "It's always your fault don't you fucking get that! Everyone leaves you, you're a brat, you can't do fucking anything right!" She says yelling at me. "I didn't do anything!" I yell as I cry. "Stop crying it makes you seem weak." She says rolling her eyes. "At least I'm not a bitch that chooses a man over her fucking children." I say as I stand up. She slaps me and I look at her shocked. It's normal for my dad but not my mom. "I'm leaving." I say going to grab my things. "No your not, you wouldn't last one fucking day without us." My dad says. "Watch me." I say grabbing my bag. "We're leaving anyway, don't worry about it. We have a flight back to America in the morning." She says. I roll my eyes and shove past them walking outside.

    I take a walk before answering Will's call. "Hey are you okay?" He asks. "Yeah, just got in a fight with my parents so I went for a walk." I say.  "Eva, it's dark." He says worried. "I'm fine Will just leave me alone." I say hanging up. I walk around a little bit more before answering Tom's and Will's call. "I'm coming to pick you up." Will says. "No, I'm literally right in front of my house. I say as I walk up on the porch. "Where the fuck have you been!" My mom yells walking outside. I put my phone in my pocket forgetting I'm on call. "I just went for a walk." I say annoyed. "Why do you always fucking do this! It's like everything I do is never enough for you, you always treated Freya better than me it's not fucking fair!" I yell back. "Nothing you do is enough! You just fucking ruin everything in my life." She yells. "Then why did you have me!" I say trying not to cry. "You think I fucking wanted to? I was too far along to terminate! I didn't get pregnant on purpose you were a fucking mistake!" She yells at me. I feel my heart break as every shred of hope I had was destroyed. "Mom." I say feeling hurt. "Your attempt only affected me business wise, it had no affect on anyone." She says hitting me deep. "I'm sorry that I'm such an inconvenience for you." I say pushing past her. "We're going to a hotel tonight, make sure you keep the doors locked." She says sighing as I go to my room. I don't say anything and plop on my bed. I remember the call and take out my phone. "Sorry bout that." I say giggling. "Don't apologize, are you alright?" Will asks. "Just tired." I say hanging up. I go over to my computer and edit the song before posting it. 

   I go sit on my roof as it starts raining. "I fucking hate this." I whisper to myself as I try not to cry. I hear my phone start going off like crazy. I sigh and rub my face as I back inside and grab my phone. I'm getting tagged in videos of everyone reacting to my song. I watch Toby's first. "Wait so this is Eva singing?" He says questionably as he opens up the link and hits play. "Wait no fucking way!" He says excitedly as it plays. "Aw this is actually kind of sad." He says looking worried. "She wrote this!" He says shocked. "It's really good." He says. I giggle and go to Tom's. "Eva posted a song. No she didn't chat don't fucking lie to me." He says going to my YouTube. He starts playing it and he looks so sad. "Holy shit man." He mumbles.Once it's done he sits there shocked for a moment. "Maybe I should go check on her that's deep." He says trying to hide his concern. "That was amazing." He says. 

   I go to Will's. "No way, she wouldn't sing for me and Tom when we hung out." He says as the song plays. "That was so fucking cool, I actually remember her showing me this in her notes and I thought it was really cool. I told Phil about it and he made a joke about her following in my footsteps since I'm like a big brother to her and Tom." He says smiling. I watch Minx's and she's screaming a lot. "No fucking way this little bitch hid this from me!" She screams. "Oh my god, this is auto tuned no okay it's fake." She says shocked. "Aw she's so amazing." Nikki says. "Shut up Nikki." Minx says annoyed making me laugh. Everyone else is shocked and I find it kind of funny.
