with her face nose deep into a book, the outside world completely blocked out, isla jumped at least ten feet in the air at the sound of her name being shouted. she pried her eyes away from her book to see a laughing jeno heading towards her.
"holy shit, you get scared so easy." he said between breaths, "whatcha reading?"
"a book, diphit."
"no shit sherlock! who goes on vacation just to read? this looks so boring," the boy sneered, reading the words on the page and quickly becoming disinterested.
"do you need something? because i'm having a blast here, thank you very much,"
"yeah, they told me to come get you because they're trying to cook and its not going well."
