*Nicole's POV*

-THE NEXT DAY-

Today we were having a family party for my little family, Brayden's, family, and Ryan and Jordan.

It wasn't anything special. Just us hanging out and celebrating that fact that we graduated. It was in my backyard, but my mom decorated it super nice, it was beautiful.

I got ready at around 11:00 since the party was starting at 12:30.

It's finally acceptable to go swimming since it's June, which was perfect because our pool was finally going to be warm enough to use.

I take a shower and shave everything so I can feel supaaa silkyyy.

I get out and blow dry my hair and then put it in a messy bun.

I only put on waterproof concealer and mascara. Keepin' it simple today.

I go to get dressed and pick out a bikini that is neon pink, it made my tan more prominent.

On top of that I put on some distressed high waisted shorts an embroidered crop top.

I grab my phone and head downstairs to see if my mom needs help with anything.

"No, I'm fine. Just carry these bowls of chips out to the tables." She says motioning to the 2 bowls of chips.

I walk outside with the 2 bowls in my arms and set one bowl on each table.

Then I stepped back and looked at the backyard. It wa amazing.

We had a normal sized backyard, but the pool area took up most of the space.

My mom had made sure all the plants looked lively in color and finally set out the lounge chairs. There were 2 tables for our families to sit and it was just great. So casual and I could already tel it was going to be a lot of fun.

As I was taking everything in, I get a text from Brayden.

B: hey, alright if i come now? :)

I reply with a yes and go to the front yard with my penny board. I ride up and down my street until I see Brayden's car coming up. I race to his car and he slams on the breaks.

"Holy fucking shit I almost hit you." He says rolling down his window as I skate to beside it.

"No, you didn't." I laugh.

"Whatever. I'll race you?" He smirks.

I nod and take the challenge, but he beats me with his car.

He gets out and I toss my penny board back in the garage.

We sit with our feet in the pool as we wait for the party to actually start.

Half an hour later, Ryan and Jordan are at the door.

I smile wide when I see them.

"Hey buds." I smirk.

"Heyy." Jordan and Ryan say in unison.

We all go to the backyard and eat snacks while we wait for my family, and Brayden's family to get here.

"Hey, let's play something. Like, uh, this." Ryan says innocently, but then pushes my into the pool as I still had a mouthful of chip in my mouth.

I plunge into the somewhat warm water and come back up to the surface.

"You fucking asshole." I smirk as I get out of the pool. The 3 of them are laughing hysterically.

I grab Ryan's shirt and force him into the pool. It wasn't easy because he fought it, but I finally got it.

"Prick." I laugh to myself.

"Mom, towels please?" I shout to her from the door. She was in the kitchen but she could still hear me because the sliding door was ajar.

She scurries to the bathroom to grab a set of 4 towels. I thank her and throw one at Ryan.

"Gee, thanks." He laughs.

I give an over-enthusiastic smile to show my sarcasm and I take off my soaked shorts and shirt. I wrap my exposed bikini body in the towel.

Another half an hour later Brayden's family and my family show up.

Mama and Papa Rusher, Rylan, Nykalia (sorry if I spelled it wrong), Brooke, Keaton, and his step mom walk to the backyard. My super close cousins and Aunt and Uncle follow with my long lost sister.

Following them, my 2 close cousins and Aunt and Uncle walk in. Then my long lost sister comes to meet me again.

Well, she's not really long lost but she has been at college for the past 4 years in California to study architecture. She's 23

"Megs!" I shout as I pull her into a huge hug.

We stay like that for what seems like years, and I take in this moment for all that it is. She was my best friend and when she left for school it broke my heart.

We pull away from each other and she steps back and notices Ryan and Brayden.

"Holy shit, he got even more attractive." She whispers to me motioning to Ryan.

Ryan and her were really good friends all through childhood. They went out for a year and then cut it off once they realized being friends was more their thing.

"Hey Ry!" She says going over to him and hugging him. You'd think she'd be super tall compared to him, but they were almost the same exact height.

They chat for a bit and then she hugs Brayden. The stops before hugging Jordan and questions him.

"I'm super sorry, but am I supposed to know who you are?" She asks.

I step in. "No, he's an internet best friend." I say putting my arm on his shoulder.

"Well, nice to meet you!" My sister says still pulling Jordan into a hug anyways.

"Nice to meet you too." He says giggling.

My sister is a very huggy person.

Then we all ate food, played games, listened to music, went swimming, it was so much fun.

Then it was time for our parents to say things about us that they wanted to say.

This was my moms idea, so lets hope it goes well.

finally updated this. but there should be 2 or so more parts and then this will be finished. sorry this story kinda sucked, but hopefully you saw my writing progressively get better.

would you guys be okay with me doing another brayden fanfic and possibly a bayani one? I feel like I screwed up this one, so I want to make another one of brayden. but don't worry, it'd be completely different and interesting. :)
