*Nicoles POV*

That day I went to the mall with my 2 friends, Chloe and Charlie.

As soon as we get there, we start heading for the shops.

We went into Forever21, American Eagle, Wet Seal, Cotton On, and bought something from every store.

Later, we decided to get some Starbucks to rest our legs.

I got my classic pumpkin spice latte. Chloe got a caramel frappuccino, and Charlie got an iced coffee.

We all sit down at a cute little table and the two start talking right away. My mind drifts elsewhere, not really paying attention to what they're saying.

Then they say something that sparks my attention.

"He's so nice, and he always walks to class with me. His name is Mitch." Charlie says looking love struck.

"Mitch who?" I ask, invading on their conversation.

"I don't know his last name, but he's so cute. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and UGH he's just adorable." Charlie says taking a sip of her iced coffee.

"Dude, why didn't you tell us sooner? He's Brayden's best friend and he's one fo mine as well! I can talk to him for you if you want?" I suggest.

"That'd be great, thanks Nic!" Charlie thanks me.

"So, who do you like Nic?" Chloe asks as she takes a sip of her frappuccino.

I choke on my drink trying to figure out what I should say next.

I don't know whether to tell them, or keep quiet. I promised...

"Uhm, actually Brayden and I have been dating for a month now..."

Why did I just say that.

Their eyes grow wide, and soon their blank expression turn into smiles.

"We've been together but we have to keep it a secret. We both know certain people that don't particularly want us together." I say quietly as if someone we knew was beside us.

"Well that's great! I'm so happy for you!" Chloe exclaims.

We finish our coffee and continue our shopping.

Later that day when I got home from shopping, I text Brayden telling him I told Charlie and Chloe about us.

To Brayden:

they need to know, they're my best friends. i can't hide anything from them

From Brayden:

i understand. but if we keep making exceptions then it wont be a secret

To Brayden:

then how bout we just keep this a secret from cube members? i mean, no one from school really matters lol

From Brayden:

true. but we'll have to have our acting game strong during pax haha

We continue chatting, and soon I say goodnight and he does too.
