Warning(s): none♡︎ (just wholesome) Word Count:865 - You look through the long isles as the spines of books almost blend in together Searching for a good book was almost impossible especially in such a short amount of time As you fidget with your coat taking one last glance at the isle - "Can i help you find anything?" Gi Hun stands behind you making you jump - dropping your collection of books "Gosh sir, you scared me" You huff as he quickly bends down picking up the books "Im so sorry, here look can I get you a coffee or something?" He flings up brushing his suit off handing you the books "Goblins bride?" He chuckles under his breath "Romantic" He examines the book before handing it to you "So you're into the romantic genre huh" He playfully crosses his arms as your cheeks flush red "Here, I'm on break any second now - what about coffee?" He smirks as you clutch your books "I do owe you" He smiles Somehow his smile was ever so reassuring , he was offering free coffee which obviously you couldn't pass up that offer - The both of you walk up to a small coffee shop decorated top to bottom in fancy decor "This place is a bit fancy don't you think?" You scratch your head as he holds his palm out inviting you to grab it "Just like in those romantic genres you read right?" He chuckles "I may not be Prince Charming but I can get you a fancy coffee" He smiles holding his hand out as you grab it - He leads you through the cafe weaving through booths finding one lit up with sunlight , as the silverware catches the light "Can i take your coat or anything ?" He holds his hand out promoting you to sit - "Sir I never got your name" You chuckle as he stumbles "I guess I got too caught up, I'm Gi-Hun" He scratches his head as you sit, he joins by sitting across from you "And you?" He looks up from the menu "Y/n" You smile as his eyes glisten "Suits you, very beautiful" He hides his face in the menu as your cheeks flush red Somehow this random man from the library made you feel butterflies, made your heart flutter - maybe it was the many romantic books but this felt like a fairytale - The coffee arrives to the table , steaming hot making your face warm As you clutch the mug as you feel the warmth on your palms Gi-hun sips the mug as he licks his lips "How's your coffee?" He holds his up "It's too hot to drink" You blow on the coffee as the steam blows every which way "It's best hot, common y/n" He jokes as you pick the cup up taking a sip as it burns the roof of your mouth causing you to flinch "I really don't know how you drink it like that" You flick your tongue feeling the numbness at the top of your mouth as he laughs "You're funny , I like that" He smiles before looking out the window "So is this where you take all your random library girls?" You say as he nearly spits out his coffee "You're clever aren't you" He laughs swallowing the swig of coffee "No, no I'm not like that" He hesitates "I couldn't help but notice you, I had to at least treat you to something" He clenches his palms together on the table as you smile The sunlight hitting the both of you as the steam of the coffee rushes up to your faces "Well you did knock my books over" You sarcastically scoff as he raises an eyebrow "Well what if it wasn't an accident" He playfully smirks before taking another sip of coffee - "Any dessert?" He slides his empty cup across the table "I'm okay thank you" You clean the table as he holds his hand out helping you out of the booth "Thanks again" You say as the two of you meet eyes He was slightly taller than you making it so you where looking up at him As the waitress bumps you accidentally causing you to fall into his chest As his arms quickly wrap around you "Oh sorry" You laugh as he looks down into your eyes as your hands are on his chest Time felt as though it was stopped as the both of you locked eyes As his fingers graze your cheek pulling you in for a kiss His lips tasted like cherries with a hint of fresh coffee Time stood still before the both of you pull apart He exhales as his eyes darken fixing his tie "I almost forgot where we where for a second" He chuckles scratching his head His phone begins to buzz as he flinches "I've gotta go" He exhales as you see the disappointment in his face , as he walks towards the door "Wait!" You yell as he turns around slowly "Will I ever see you again?" You smile as his face lights up "You'll know where to find me" He waves his hand before leaving the cafe - ♡︎
