Breakfast , an enjoyable meal at the start of a day - when you think of breakfast the usual idea is a side of Orange Juice maybe even a few strips of bacon, oatmeal , cereal ? Let your imagination go wild

Not here, the breakfasts consisted of a sweet bun and milk varying during the days - the bun sail dry and the milk was warm as if it had been sitting out for a few hours.

The lights bright shining off the pail white brick walls as you hear the rustle of packages being opened

"sweet bun ?"

Sae walks over to your cot and sits right down beside you holding an extra bun out

"I sneaked a second one"

She smirks as you slowly take the bun, still traumatized from the first game

"You're not hungry?"

Sae sits comfortably on your bed munching on her bun , your hands still shaky

"I'm not hungry today"

You mumble glaring at the sweet bun sitting in front of you

"At least drink the milk"

She smiles handing you the bottle of milk as you prop it open taking a small sip

"it's a bit warm"

You joke as she smiles taking the bottle from your hands and drinking it

"It tastes like shit"

She laughs as you join - her presence was ever so comforting , somehow she always put you first even in a game like this Sae kept you calm , her smile was so infectious

Sae crawls over to you on the edge of the bed

"Can I do your hair? I used to do my moms all the time"

Before you can answer she begins brushing her fingers through your hair

"Don't worry y/n I'm a professional"

She holds her finger up before stroking her hands through your hair once again

"Nothing crazy okay?"

You joke as she begins to laugh

You feel her tug on your hair twisting the strands as she concentrates , her touch was soft - the tugs where so gentle

"I'm not hurting you am I?"

She exclaims as you shake your head as she continues to braid

"and.. there I'm done"

She ties the braid up with the rubber band from the milk bottle - a beautiful fishtail braid curled around your head ever so perfectly

Sae gets up and walks in-front of you sitting on the bed

"I wish I had a mirror to show you how gorgeous you look y/n"

Her face turning a bright pink as she shy's away

"Sae, I already know you did a beautiful job"

You smile as her face lights up - you pat your hair feeling the braid , the small twists and bumps

You get up and hug her tight almost feeling tears whelm up in your eyes

"Sae you're the best"

She hugs you tighter sniffling

"Whatever happens in here.."

she gets cut off as a guard approaches the two of you

making you both unleash the tight hug looking at each other once more before heading back to your cots

What was Sae about to say..?

Questions roll through your head as you stare up at her sitting across from you in her bed

She gives a smirk twirling her fingers and mouthing the words

"We've got this I promise"

As more guards enter the room leading the group to the next game...
