-Third POV-

"I'm Ink," The soulless skeleton said plainly. Pj was at a loss for words. He smiled and finally spoke. "I'm Paperjam," he said cheerfully. "Are you really Ink? The Creator?" the question seemed redundant but Pj had to be sure. The soulless creator nodded once. Pj nearly squealed. He then paused, remembering. "Ink! You have to help Stretch!" Ink tilted his head. "Why would I do that? Error is saving you, isn't he?" The creator asked. Paperjam whined. "But Error could kill him! He doesn't deserve to die!" the gooey skeleton cried out.

Ink stared at Pj. He put his hand on his own shirt and tugged. "Do you see this shirt I'm wearing?" Ink asked monotonously. Pj nodded. "These aren't my clothes, I got these from prison. Do you know how I got to prison, Paperjam?" Pj nodded again to Ink's question. Pj nervously fidgeted with his scarf. "You were locked away when you and Dream had snuck off leaving Palette." Ink was a little taken back by the name of his son but continued. "It wasn't cause I left him, I was thrown in jail because of Stretch's hate for Error. He saw me that day, Dream and I had given Error some food when he was in the ditch. He locked me away for trying to help Error, If Error and I have to pay for our sins... So does he." Ink finished still sounding monotone.

Paperjam frowned sadly, he looked away. He saw Error whack Stretch across the face with a bone attack, sending him into a tree. Stretch had no time to recover, he dodged as Error kicked the tree in half where he was seconds ago. Error landed on his feet, slowly turning to the frightened Papyrus, his cold lifeless sockets stared in his direction. Stretch's breathing was quick, he huffed trying to catch his breath. Error teleported in front of him, all he could do was gasp before Error impaled the other.

Paperjam's sockets widened in fear. "No!" He shouted. Stretch fell back. Pj teleported in front of the impaled skeleton. He opened his arms wide. "Error stop! You can't kill him! He's an uncle! a brother!" Error raised his hand. Ink shot forward and pushed Paperjam out of the way as Error shot bone attacks where Pj stood. Ink's arm was scraped by the attacks. He jumped back, away from Error. Pj sat there shocked and terrified. "Wh-why?" was all he could mutter. Why had Error attacked him? He thought. Pj jumped to his feet and grabbed Stretch, teleporting him further from Error.

The destroyer's sockets widened, he didn't mean to attack Pj. Suddenly his expression dropped back to being emotionless. He took a step closer to Paperjam and Stretch. "You have to finish what he started thirty years ago." He muttered to himself. Error kept walking towards the two, not slowing his pace in any way. He summoned a bone attack in his hand. Pj's sockets widened as Error got closer.

Ink shot forward and knocked Error away with a kick. He landed on his feet and backed up, so that he was closer to Pj but kept his eyes on Error. "That's not your father, Paperjam. Not anymore." The inky skeleton looked up at the creator with concerned eyesights. "What do you mean?" Pj asked. "I can't sense Error anymore, someone must be controlling him." Ink said as he held his hand out to Pj.

"You have any weapons I can use" he said plainly. "I'm completely defenseless right now." Paperjam hurriedly searched in his fanny pack. He pulled out his three small paintbrushes. "Not really, I just have these" Ink looked down at the child and took the brushes. "Perfect" he said blankly. "Stay here"

Paperjam held onto Stretch, who was more confused than scared. Why did Pj put his life on the line for him? Wasn't this Error's son?

Ink walked towards Error. The destroyer stood up and stared at Ink. "Error." The creator started. "I don't know what's happening, but you almost hurt Paperjam, and I can't sense anything from you. Calm down, or I will make you." Ink said while getting into his stance.

Error ran forward and swung at Ink with a red bone attack in hand. The creator turned into a puddle of ink and reformed behind the destroyer. He kicked Error and sent him flying, he teleported in front of Error and kicked him again. The destroyer hit the ground and slid.
