You and Angeline are standing in the staffroom in front of a glaring Mrs. Nancy. You see Angeline's hair and can't believe that you are the one who made that mess. But you don't regret one bit of it. Because she deserved it.
It actually feels good to finally release all your years of anger. So you are ready to face the consequences.
"Angeline stand out. I have to talk to y/n privately."
"But Mrs. Nancy she i-" Angeline started.
"I said you to stand out Angeline. Which part of that you don't understand?" Mrs. Nancy cut off.
Angeline shot a glare towards you and stormed of from the staffroom. You can't say if it is good or bad that you are alone with Mrs. Nancy.
She doesn't say anything for the first 2 mins. She was just observing you. Then she lets out a big sigh.
"I didn't expect this from you y/n. I know that Angeline can get into your nerves sometime but pulling her hair in front of the whole class!" She lets out a big sigh again.
You didn't dare to make eye contact with her.
"I am sorry Mrs. Nancy." You mumbled with your head low.
"I will leave you with just a warning since this is the first time you are in a problem. But I don't know what Angeline's parents are going to say about this." Mrs. Nancy said.
To say the truth Angeline's parents like you a lot. Once they have seen you help a blind man to cross the road when no one else did. From then they always came and talked to you. Appreciated whatever you did.
They also always complained about Angeline's manners to you. To help them to change Angeline like you. They also tried to make you both best friends. But you and Angeline both were opposed to it.
"Your father and Angeline's mother are on their way. Let's decide what to do after that." Mrs. Nancy said while rubbing her temples.
Like they were just summoned, Angeline's mother and your father entered the staffroom with Angeline following them.
"What is this about y/n?" Your father asks you with question filled eyes. You can't answer him.
"First please take a seat sir. Angeline's mother you take your seat too." Mrs. Nancy interrupted and you were thankful for it.
Both of the parents were watching Mrs. Nancy to say what had happened. Mrs. Nancy started
"Y/n and Angeline got into a fight."
"What?" Your father asked with wide eyes and turned to see you.
You didn't meet his eyes and kept your head low.
"That is new." Said Angeline's mother.
"Well it's nothing new that Angeline got into a fight but it's the first time that she got into a fight with y/n." Continued Angeline's mother.
Angeline gaped at her mother.
"Mom! What do you mean by it's nothing new? And she is the one who started it!" Angeline pointed a finger in your direction.
"Honey. I know about you very well. And I know about y/n too." Angeline's mother said.
"What do you mean? Are you saying that I am lying?!" Angeline shouted back.
"You maybe right. Maybe she is the one who started it. But not without you doing something first." Angeline's mother gave her a look like she can read her mind and dared her to lie.
Angeline just saw her mother and didn't know what to reply.
"Well that's done then. We will get going Mrs. Nancy. I am sorry for the inconvenience." Angeline's mother got up from the chair. And moved towards you.
"Take care sweetheart. I will make sure that she will not cross paths with you again. I thought that she would change if she spends time with you more but it seems like she is changing you. If she gets in your way again I will make sure to cut her pocket money. Forever." She winked at you and started to move out.
"Mom! What do you mean by you will cut of my pocket money forever?!!" Angeline followed her mother pleading.
What a cool woman. You thought.
