The new pup was a female, and her coat was a mix of thick white and light gray fur.
Sasta quickly became attached to her new pup."Fauna will be your name", Sasta whispered into the pups mostly closed ear. Fauna whimpered, anxiously for something exciting to happen. Sasta comforted her by licking her back fur.Fauna was happy, and mostly content.

That next night, Sasta tryed for the first time to feed Fauna. Sasta nervously made her attempt. Fauna waisted no time and immediatly latched onto her mother's teat. The taste of the sweet milk quickly made Fauna start to dose off into slumber.
Sasta nuzzled Fauna as she finished her dinner. Fauna then unlatched from her mother's teat, and fell asleep.
Just before Sasta fell asleep, she noticed a small black bloth that resembled a sun, on Fauna's front right paw. An evil thought stormed into Fauna's head."This one isn't right", the thought whispered. After that night, not only was Sasta different. Everything was different.
