For the past week, the routine continued and similar things kept happening, but I just accepted it. I was making some lunch for Brahms when there was a knock on the front door. "I wonder who that could be?" I look at Brahms then at our half-prepared food, "I think the food will have to wait a bit longer if that's all-right Brahms. Now let's go and check who that is." I picked up Brahms and walked towards the door.

When I opened the door, Malcolm was standing there with the groceries, so I stood to the side to let him in. We walked toward the kitchen again and I decided to continue with preparing lunch after helping Malcolm. I put Brahms down at the table so I didn't have to hold him up the whole time, but made sure he is still in the same area as me.

"So, how are you holding up, is Brahms treating you well?" Malcolm starts up a conversation as we put away things.

"I've been holding up pretty well actually and Brahms is behaving great," I glance at him for a moment before regaining my focus on the groceries, 'probably shouldn't tell him I'm talking to a doll that sometimes talks back and that there may be a person in the house eating the dolls food... I think I'll just keep that to myself since I don't want him to think I'm insane or take me out of here because I'm just starting to enjoy working here in a weird way.'

We finish putting the groceries away and I go back to making lunch. "Here's your first weeks' pay, I'll leave it on the bench for you... hey, I was just thinking about if you would like to have a night out to relax from taking care of Brahms for the past week. Plus, we can become better friends by getting to know each other."

I acted as if I was thinking so it wouldn't seem rude to Malcolm if I said no straight away. "Thank you for the kind offer, but I have to stay with Brahms plus the rule state that I should never leave Brahms alone." I look up at Malcolm, giving him an appreciative smile before placing the food on each plate.

"...okay, but if you change your mind just call me." I nod my head and placed Brahms' plate down in front of him. "There you go Brahms, I'm just going to walk Malcolm back to the door then I'll be right back." I pat the dolls head as Malcolm and I both walk towards the door.

I open the door for him as we say our goodbyes. "See you next week Y/n."

"See ya," I wave goodbye and close the door behind me, walking towards the kitchen again, 'That was considerate of him, but I know that he would only mean it as a friend since he seems to only be attracted to the typical slim or 'attractive' women, just like most men in this world. And the only ones that come close the chubby girls like me are... only looking for us as either a punching bag or to just make us more self conscious about ourselves.... Damn it why did I have to go and start thinking about that, stop N/n, don't think about it right now.'

I take a deep, shaky breath to settle my emotion on the sensitive subject. When I got back to the Kitchen, I saw that Brahms had eaten his proportion, "Good job Brahms, you ate everything on the plate." I pat his head with appraisal and went over to my plate. I didn't have an appetite at the moment, or rather I didn't want to eat with the feeling that I'm just going to be told 'haven't you eaten enough already,' so I wrapped it up and placed it into the freezer for later.

"Come on Brahms, lets clean the traps then listen to some music." I picked him up and walked towards the gardens to do my duties.

*Time skips to dinner*

I had just finished making a cheese pizza for dinner, I placed it on a pizza cutting board and cut them into eight slices. "How much slices do you want Brahms?" The whispers said "4", so I place them on a plate and put it in front of him, "Just call for me if you want more, okay." I placed two slices on my plate, since I still felt insecure about my food proportion, and walked out into the other room.
