chapter 14: Aftermath

After they returned from the battle, Emerald ordered for Josh to be taken to the medical centre for his recovery.

Vestal: what happened?

QM2: Josh saved Kaga from drowning and won't wake up for some time.

Vestal: there's an empty ward, please take him there.

Kaga: (falls to her knees) it's my fault...

Tirpitz: now don't feel like that, Kaga. Josh would hate to see you like this.

Kaga: but I...

Then she was whacked on top of her head by Tirpitz and encouraged her to look on the bright side.

Tirpitz: now, now. If you want to feel better then how about you go and be by his side while he recovers.

Kaga: ok.

She goes to the medical centre and stays there. Tirpitz heads to the office when she got there, Hornet and some of the others were scolding Javalin and Laffey about their actions in regards for saving Ayanami. Emerald was watching in silence.

Tirpitz: you're not going to say something, Emerald?

Emerald: no. Imma a little worried about Josh and Kaga... do you know how Purifier would react?

Tirpitz: my guess is that she'll be upset now. Considering that they are good friends.

QM2: (offside) so as a result of your actions: Javalin, Laffey you two are on guard duty.

Emerald: (joining in the discussion) whoa hold on.

All: hmm?

Emerald: what do you mean by on guard duty? Surely you don't suggest that they guard Josh and Kaga, do you?

Wales: more likely to guard the Sakura Empire destroyer: Ayanami.

Emerald: I'm so confused.

Tirpitz: we have a rule in regards of prisoners of war, Emerald.

Then Tirpitz started to explain about the rule in that regard and she has a clear understanding and second that motion, They agreed. Afterwards Emerald had joined the pair to hang out with Ayanami.

Javalin: (to Ayanami) allow me to introduce you to our second commander, Emerald Sustrai.

Ayanami: oh nice to meet you commander Sustrai.

Emerald: just call me Emerald or Em. I'm not a fan of being called commander though it is my title plus it causes issues for myself and Josh.

Javalin: speaking of which, how is he?

Emerald: dunno of his status. But still resting in the medical centre. Unsure of when he'll be awake yet.

Javalin: lady Hood will certainly be worried about him.

In the medical centre, Hood visited him while Kaga went to get something to eat. She was very worried about his condition as it was the same.

Back with Emerald and the destroyers.
They were joined by unicorn and were headed of to town for various of shops.
