Let's rewind why Sunghoon hates Jake so much shall we?

START!

Sunghoon P.O.V

A few years back....

"Hi everyone! I'm Sim Jaeyun, but you can call me Jake! I'm from Australia. Hope we can get along well." The new guy spoke, lips spreading into a smile, canines showing a little.

"Hello, may I sit with you? I dont see any other empty seats." The Jake boy told me. "Okay." I blankly responded. However, I dont think Jake would've liked such a short response and decided that I, the most boring, introverted, person in the class, would be the perfect best friend.

"Can you show me around? Do you have any friends? What's your name? Do you have any siblings? What's your hobby-" Jake's sentence was cut short as I let out a dry chuckle.

Who does this guy think he is? Expecting me to be who? Albert Einstein? Even I dont know that many things about me. And plus, I barely knew him! Why's he talking to me?

"First of all, you talk too much. Second of all, even I dont know that many things about myself. Third, pay attention to the teacher. Lastly, go find other friends to bother." I said in a monotonous way.

Jake pouted, "You dont like me? I'll make sure we'll become the best of friends, just you wait, uh...whatever your name is."

With that being said, his attitude left me stunned before I regained my composure and tsked. "As if.." I muttered under my breath.

Third person P.O.V

After days,weeks, months, of bothering and persuading Sunghoon, he finally succeeded. Jake succeeded in becoming the ice prince's first friend.

Jake actually thought he was funny and nice enough for Sunghoon to befriend him, but in reality, Sunghoon was just amused at his persistence and was annoyed of a certain someone literally shouting his name in front of everyone to get his attention.

That one innocent friendship turned into a first relationship and a first heartbreak.

Under the blooming cherry blossom tree with some falling down in the middle of spring during the afternoon sun was the perfect, most cliché setting for their confessions. A bouquet and a simple box of chocolates. Most importantly, the one and only Sim Jaeyun standing under the tree, presenting the flowers and the chocolates to Sunghoon. Wind blowing in his hair softly, as more cherry blossoms fell. The moment they intertwined their fingers and shared their first kiss. An innocent kiss, one of a new relationship and pure love. The moment they became boyfriends.

Though everyone knows, happiness never lasts forever.

Sunghoon's P.O.V

I skipped my way to Jake's house. "He he! I bet hes going to be so surprised." I gleefully muttered as I looked at the basket of muffins I baked for the both of us. I didn't warn him about my arrival yet so I was excited to surprise him.

When I arrived at his apartment, the door was unlocked. Perfect!! "JAKEY-" Sunghoon came to a halt as he saw the scene rolling out in front of his eyes. He dropped his basket and placed both hands over his mouth. Tears started brimming in his eyes as he saw Jake....
