"What the actual what." Is the first thing I saw as I wake up face to face with Kol.

"Hi, how are you?" Kol states very preppy.

"I'm good?" I say questioning what's going on.

"Oh, that's nice." Is all he says and we just simply sit in silence.

He actually looks very content with the silence despite the fact that he's in my house and in my room.

"So what are you doing here?" I finally ask.

"Oh right! I forgot, your boyfriends left this morning and asked lovely me to keep you company. Isn't that swell?"

"What is up with these men leaving me all the time?" I grabbed my phone and called the first number that popped up which was Enzo.

"Hello gorgeous."

"Why did you guys leave me? I don't like when y'all do that, and you know that." This just keeps happening it makes me a little sad.

"It's fine we just went out to grab a few clothes and things for me and learn more about the victims that were at Augustine."

"I could've went with you guys. I would've like to see what you picked."

"I know, sweetheart. You were sleeping we didn't want to wake you."

"Not even to let me know you were leaving."

"I'm so sorry, we didn't think it all the way through. We will talk when we get back please stay home and wait for us."

"And who knows when you'll get back, cause I sure don't. Bye." I hung up.

"Oh feisty." Kol says making me laugh.

"Please, it was just nonsense." I say.

"Hey, do you want to go out? There's a little event going on at some house, we can go laugh at the awkward teenagers." I asked Kol.

"Oh that'll be something, do you want me to tell klaus?" Well if it isn't a perfect opportunity to give back.

"No, they'll be fine. It'll just be for a little bit."

"What a crazy woman you are. Surely you know you are testing waters?"

"That's the point, they need to know how it feels. It's only fair."

"Alrighty, let's get this train wreck over with. Nothing like testing men who's be alive for hundreds of years." He says dusting himself off. He steps out while I get dressed.

I decided to wear a black mini skirt and a cropped white tee, it was definitely way too cropped.

We finally head out much to kol's relief because apparently I took too long. I just wanted to look extra nice that's all.

We arive to the little party and turns out it was not a little party...it's a big one. Oh.

"Let's play a game, lani. We should see how many people we can flirt with— extra points if you get their number." Kol suggests like the mad man he is.

"Kol, I would actually die. Your brother and my mates— they— I don't even know what they'll do." The hypothetical sent shivers down my spine.

"I guess that's something I didn't consider. Okay okay new game, we guess how many people will try to hit on us. I say at least 50 people for you and 70 for me."

"Wait why do you get more than me?" Not that it mattered but I'm a catch.

"Because I'm hotter and the men also love me as much as the women." He says extremely confident. We stare at each other before bursting into laughter.
