"hm, maybe i didn't sleep. and maybe i did. you'll never know." sae-byeok was now saying in an annoyed tone. she just got up from her seat and left the others stand there.
they looked kinda shocked even tho it was normal for sae-byeok to just walk away like that during an important conversation. "kang sae-byeok! wait!!" ji-yeong said as she started running after her friend. the other just ignored her, but ji-yeong took her hand and stopped her from going away.
"where do you think you're going, miss kang?" she asked which made sae-byeok laugh a bit. "seriously? we're being formal now?" "n-no! it was just for you to notice me, dumbass!"
"TCH, 'DUMBASS'?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO?!" sae-byeok just started yelling at ji-yeong. she hated people calling her names because of something what happened in the past.
"i-i..i'm sorry sae-byeok.. please forgive me.." ji-yeong said while looking at her feet. she sounded like she was about to start crying any moment. sae-byeok now started feeling kinda guilty for yelling st the innocent girl. she looked at her but she couldn't see her face.
"ji-yeong. don't be sorry." she said as she putted her hand on the other's chin and made an eye contact with her. "it's not your fault, you did nothing wrong. i should be the one saying sorry." she then putted her hand on ji-yeong's shoulder and started walking.
ji-yeong still didn't calm herself after what happened earlier. she still claimed it as her fault even tho sae-byeok told her not to. she was really mad at herself for making her friend uncomfortable. she didn't know where her thoughts were even going at the moment.
"ji-yeong? earth to ji-yeonggg!!" sae-byeok was saying. ji-yeong didn't even pay attention to that until sae-byeok started waving her hand infront of her eyes. "huh? did you say something sae-byeok?" sae-byeok just sighed. "you really didn't paying any attention, eh? what's wrong ji? you seem kinda upset."
"me? i'm alright, just kinda sleepy right now." she lied. sae-byeok saw ji-yeong nervously putting her hands together. she really looked scared. sae-byeok wanted to do something about it, but she didn't know what. she was thinking for few minutes and then she looked at ji-yeong.
"oi, ji-yeong.". the other looked at her. "quit being sad, it really doesn't suit you." sae-byeok said as she took ji-yeong's hand and kissed it.
"stop being sad princess, smile for me please!"
ji-yeong's eyes widened. "d-did you just.. call me princess...?" "mhm i did. what you gonna do about it~?" ji-yeong started giggling a bit which made sae-byeok smile.
"she's so cute when she giggles~ i wish she was all mine~!" sae-byeok thought. she never thought like that about anyone in her life. guess this girl was different. "sae, thanks for cheering me up!" "huh? 'sae'? is that what you're gonna call me?" "you know, i got tired from your whole name. this is just for now until i come up with better nickname ideas!"
sae-byeok just kept staring at the girl who seemed to be really happy and proud of herself. "heh, you're literally adorable." sae-byeok said while her eyes were on ji-yeong. the other was just silent until she spoke. "please sae, stop this. you know i'm taken by your best friend and you're still doing this."
"i would even ruin our friendship for you darling~"
ji-yeong was shocked on those words. she was speechless. "just kidding, i love him more than you. you're just a friend i met few days ago while i've been friends with him for years!" sae-byeok said. ji-yeong just smiled at that. she was happy that she wasn't going to ruin everything between sae-byeok and sang-woo.
