Daisy stared at Evie who was busy rummaging through her bag, her eyes holding panic in them as she finally placed her bag down with a sigh. "Looking for this?" Evie's eyes widened when she saw Mr Deley holding up a tiny object in his hand. Magic mirror. "Thank you, Chad. It's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code." He told the Prince who had a smug smirk on his face. "It will be my recommendation that you are expelled." Mr Deley suggested to the shocked Evie.

"Mr. Deley, I—"

Doug stood to his feet to defend her, the chair screeching at his rapid movement. "But that isn't fair. Obviously she wasn't cheating since she didn't have that..... Whatever it is......"

The oblivious Evie tried to correct him, "It's called a magic mir—"

"You're not helping. Stop." Doug whispered and turned back to the teacher who had a bored, almost irritated expression. "Maybe she needed another pencil."

"Actually, I was—"

Doug snapped his head towards Evie once again "Really, don't help. Please." He practically begged and the girl only nodded, puzzled.

Instead of 'helping', Evie looked to Mr Deley, a glint of plead and desperation in her eyes. "Please."

Mr. Deley sighed and put the mirror on the table, grumbling, "Well, If you can pass this test, I'll return your property and let the matter drop." But Daisy narrowed her eyes at him, still not satisfied.

"Shouldn't you apologise?"

Mr Deley's eyes widened at Daisy who continued to sit in her place, her arms crossed and her tone venomous. He gulped as her hazel eyes practically burned through his skill. "If I remember correctly, last year when Chad was caught trying to cheat, you let him off easy with only a day of detention." Daisy stated, "But now, you suggested expulsion for the same reason to a different student. Isn't this a clear case of both discrimination and favouritism?"

The entire class went silent at her words. Evie and Doug stared at their friend in awe while Chad and Mr Deley mimicked the action in fear. Anyone's doubt of whether the soft, kind princess would be capable to advise the future-king on kingdom matters vanished the second they witnessed her serious tone which radiated authority.

"I apologise for my lack of judgement, your highness." Mr Deley spoke, thinking of every word twice before he did so. At the raised brow of hers, he bit his lip and continued, "I apologise to you as well, Evie for my ignorant behaviour. And Chad, for trying to cheat on an important exam, I trust that you will be meeting me for detention. Two weeks."

Satisfied with his apology and his belated punishment to the stunned Chad, Daisy nodded to the teacher allowing the exam to commence. She mouthed a good luck to her friends who chuckled. A giggle also escaped her lips at Evie who held her hand and not forgetting to thank the princess at least every few seconds.
