⎯⎯ ♡𝐹𝑖𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑒𝑛

All the ongoing drama and fiasco was over. There was no more danger of either Maleficent or the Isle taking over and ruining Auradon. There was no more remaining pressure to steal the wand. And most of all, there was no more time to mope around. For the time being, it was time to celebrate the coronation. The time to begin the party for the new king of Auradon and his trust royal advisor.

Daisy separated from her friends, rushing to her room to change from her long gown to a more comfortable one. She pulled out a light yellow dress from her cupboard with a halter neck and silver belt, flowery designs on the fabric. Once again, it was designed by the one-and-only Evie. She paired it up with a pair of grey heels. After all, she was sure that Evie would kill her if she didn't listen to the girl's instruction.

Colorful fireworks blasted throughout the sky, everyone already beginning to dance in the venue. Daisy giggled on seeing Carlos devour another Reese's buttercup, trying his best not to let Dude steal it as well. She skipped over to him, kissing his cheek which caught him by surprise. Carlos spun around, grinning widely at the sight of his girlfriend.

"I'm calling you buttercup from now on." She stated, wiping off the chocolate from his mouth. "It suits you."

Carlos chuckled with a happy nod. In his time at Auradon, he grew to accept the fact that nicknames were sort of a must for a couple. He already had one for Daisy so it was nice to hear that she formed one up for him too. This was like taking the next step for the VK.

"Dude's been wanting to lick that chocolate fountain ever since I reached." Carlos informed, pointing to the large fountain of pouring chocolate at the centre of the snacks table.

Daisy laughed with a light shake of her head, taking Dude from Carlos's arms and kissing the dog's head. "Why are you always hungry? No amount of food will ever be enough for you, huh?" She cooed to the dog who wagged his tail, unaware of Carlos who slipped out his phone and took a picture.

"You lovebirds better stop making me feel so lonely." Jay once again disturbed their moment, Carlos playfully rolling his eyes and Daisy laughing.

"Oh, just ask one of the girls from there, I'm sure they're all dying to talk to you." Carlos gestured to the group of giggling girls, all blushing and waving when Jay turned around. Jay smirked and waved back, shrugging to Carlos.

"It's fun being single."

Before Carlos could retort anything else which would proceed to them bickering again, the loud music begun playing. Daisy giggled at her twin who was carried onto the platform by the group of boys.

"Would you care for a dance, Princess?" Carlos bowed down, extending his hand with a mock posh accent. Daisy places Dude down, laughing and enveloping her hand in his.

"I would love to, buttercup."

With that, Carlos and her made their way up the platform, their body moving along to the upbeat rhythm of the song that everyone joined in. Daisy laughed on seeing Carlos run away momentarily to invite Jane before going back to her. The two's face scrunched up slightly when Jay agreed to dance with Audrey but the scrunched face did not last long as the song continued even further, getting louder and even more fun with every second.

Daisy's hazel eyes remained fixated with Carlos's chocolate brown orbs, a bright smile on both their faces. Her arms were loosely hanging around Carlos's neck, his arms wrapped around her waist, their foreheads touching.

"This most-likely won't be the end of the story, would it, Royal Advisor?" Carlos mused and Daisy hummed in response.

"It definitely isn't the end."

"But we'll go through the troubles together?" Carlos questioned and his girlfriend laughed at how adorable he was.

"Together, Carlos."

With matching giddy smiles, they leaned in, their lips meeting like perfect pieces of a puzzle. Closing their eyes, Carlos pulled Daisy closer, the two continued to sway along to the music as their lips softly moved in sync. All the troubles on their shoulders had vanished off in the air. For now. And they were nothing but two teenagers who were exhilarated that they found in each other.

A/N—Okay, so I'm publishing four chapters within a day but I'm not some superhero and I've been nonstop typing them through the span of a couple of weeks and for fuck's sake, as proud as I am of myself, I'm starting to wonder if this is really worth it. I mean, I'm spending all my time and energy on a fanfiction which I don't even know if people like. 👁👄👁💀
