(Readers' POV)
After the concert, I along with Anna got super special treatment. we were escorted backstage by bodyguards for a small celebration of the success of the concert with the members.
As soon as I saw Taehyung, I ran into his arms and he twirled me around despite being slick with sweat and absolutely tired. I and Anna shook hands with other members, thanking and appreciating their performances. The boys and the crew were so tired, they all just sat idle, they could hardly move a muscle. I felt proud of them-they worked so hard!
I knew being friends with Tae gave me the guarantee that I could meet the members anytime but still, I and Anna clicked some pics with them and just celebrated the moment with them, it was bliss!
Soon it was time for their crew to pack up. Tae and the other members asked us to stay for dinner but looking at how tired they were, we decided to excuse ourselves. Besides, I and my best friend needed to spend some quality time together, and Anna suggested food walks through the streets of Paris while admiring the beautiful Parisian night and eating delicacies.
As we walk past a vintage-style coffee shop, Anna suggests getting a cup of coffee on the go. there was a long queue inside so I told her to get the coffee while I would wait outside. she agreed. I waited outside, happily humming to myself in memory of the concert.
I was having the intuition that someone was staring at me, or following my movements. I looked around but found no one. it was a very busy street but no one, in particular, was staring at me. maybe it was all just in my mind.
I was scrolling through my phone to pass time when suddenly I heard an achingly familiar voice from behind me...
"Hey sweetheart"
I froze in my track, afraid to turn around.
No, this isn't real. my mind is just playing games with me. he isn't real.
He moved closer to me. I could feel the whiff of his breath down my neck.
But this can't be real, he can't be...
"Miss me ?"
