"High School
(n.) where self-esteem, innocence, and dreams go to die."
It was Wednesday, and she got to school at 6:20, not wanting to risk seeing someone again, she left earlier. She put her posters on the box of basics, and headed back for the gym. When she got inside, all of the lights were off, and she was forced to use her phones as a light. She pulled back the gate and slid the box in with herself soon following. She hung up her posters first, and then rolled out her blanket. She left the vodka and the cigarrettes in the box, knowing that someone could walk in at any given moment.
It was 6:45 and the lights turned on.
The teacher walked around the gym whistling while she wrapped the vodka and cigarettes in her blanket.
It was 7:50 when the teacher finally left. And students were starting to arrive.
Today, she would go to school.
She hid her vodka and cigarettes in her locker with everything else she brought into school. After opening someone else's locker, she had a random book to take to her next class.
Mathematics.
Her best class.
For the few years she did actually go to school, she was very good at math. But when she stopped going, her knowledge/ talent slowly disappeared. So fast forwarding to the present, it tends to be her worst subject.
