Finally, the weekend arrived. I was so excited for today because the gang and I would be helping Alan's dad build my idea of a treehouse hideout. I walked out of my house and started walking towards Alan's place. Apparently, the others were already there before me waiting along with Alan and his dad themselves. Once I arrived, everyone greeted me and I greeted them back like usual. You get the gist already. Alan's dad said we could just call him "Mr. S." Okay, now less of the boring stuff and now moving on towards the building of our awesome treehouse hideout (I think I might call it the Gang's Hideout, sounds pretty original to me.)

Mr. S got the supplies and his toolbox out and we began working. While working on the hideout, I remembered that I forgot to ask some questions about Alan the other day since I was curious of why he was in this city anyways. I asked him why he moved here, and he replied with something along the line's of, "My dad needed to move to get closer to his work, y'know? It was hard on him to keep paying like $40 of gas almost every other day to just drive back and forth to work. As you can tell, he's a construction craftsman or whatever." That seemed pretty reasonable to me. I then asked him where he came from, and he replied, "I came from a little bit down south. I really didn't like the schools there, they had strict uniform rules. I'm glad this school doesn't follow those guidelines." I guess I could say the same thing honestly. It would be stupid to wear a uniform, though I've never worn one before, this is the only school I've really gone to.

A few hours later, and we're almost done. But Mr. S got an emergency phone call from his work I think so he had to leave quickly. He waved goodbye to us and we did the same. I don't even know what time it was. I told the others I'd see them probably tomorrow because it was getting late by just looking at the sky. I said bye to everyone before I walked home.
