Lou didn't even realize how long he had ran. His thoughts now seemed to be clearer than ever. He couldn't miss it. And he couldn't allow something superfluous to penetrate flow of his thoughts. Even he was running decently fast, he didn't notice that.

The most obvious place where Tara could be is in the center. That's where he was heading. And he was just right. That golden curls Lou would recognizes from a thousand.

He stopped at a couple of meters from his old house to catch his breath. He lowered his head and kept his hands on his knees. After a couple of seconds, he began to return to reality. And Tara's voice began to reach him. And Alan's voice... He's here too. Okay. This is even better.

Lou confidently raised his head, straightened up and walked right in the direction of that couple.

"Is everything OK?" Lou asked as he walked over to the dolls.

Tara looked at Lou with incomprehension. She understood that now Alan would explode with discontent and immediately tried to calm him down.

       "Alan-"

"Oh! Here it is, in all his glory. Your new best friend," Alan said in a displeased and irritated voice. He gave Lou a scornful look. Lou had feeling that even he had never looked at someone with such anger. Apparently, this is how you feel in such... situations.

"I only wanted to talk to Tara," Lou replied calmly.

Tara looked slightly worried at Alan's opponent. Lou's expression, as always, made it impossible to determine his intentions.

"You can talk as much as you want."

       Lou exhaled deeply.

"I need to talk to you too."

Alan looked at Lou with an extremely surprised face. What he wanted? Although, he even wonders what Lou is going to say him.

Lou stared at Alan for a couple of seconds, letting him know that he wanted to talk to his friend in private. Tara's intercessor rolled his eyes and walked back a few meters.

Tara didn't understand what she was feeling now. Lou just suddenly run to talk to her. This is not like him.

       Though...

This is not like the old Lou.

She couldn't imagine what could be so important that Lou needed to talk about it. For a few moments she looked at her sudden interlocutor with complete incomprehension.

"I realized what I had to say then."
