The Precinct. It was the morning after everything went down last night. Detectives were sitting in the conference room waiting for their Captain to arrive.
Dean was standing leaning against the wall with questions running through his mind as Becky got up from her seat and walked over to him.
Becky-''Penny for your thoughts?''
Dean smiled sadly and shrugged.
Dean-''I don't even know where to begin. Why did Seth do this?''
Becky-''Only he can answer that.''
Dean-''Oh, man. What is Roman gonna think when he finds out?''
Becky-''Are you gonna tell him?''
Dean-''He probably saw it all on the news this morning. Which means he's as stunned as we all are.''
Becky-''Hey, I'm sure you'll get all the answers you want soon.''
Dean nodded and Becky kissed his cheek.
Becky-''Come sit with me.''
Dean-''No, thanks. I'm too anxious to sit right now.''
Becky-''Ok.''
Becky rubbed his arm gently.
Then everyone heard the conference room door open and they went quiet as they looked over to see Bruce walk in followed by Travis & Piper.
Bruce-''Morning, everyone.''
Detectives-''Morning, Captain.''
Becky sat down as Travis & Piper leaned against the wall next to each other behind Bruce.
Bruce-''First off, you all did an excellent job last night. We all took a dangerous man off the streets and hopefully he gets locked up for a very long time.''
Everyone nodded.
Bruce-''Secondly, I wouldn't have had an advantage over Batista's entire operation if it wasn't for these two standing behind me. Travis & Piper have been working undercover for me as Batista's right hand man & woman for the past year.''
Dean looked at Travis & Piper as they smiled at each other.
Bruce-''I couldn't tell you about them as you can all understand why. Plus, when they told me that Seth had turned against us....I had to keep this extremely close to the vest.''
Everyone nodded as they understood.
Bruce-''Now, before you ask any questions. Let me introduce you to them.''
Travis & Piper stepped forward and stood on either side of Bruce.
Bruce-''Well, the first thing you should know is that their real names are not Travis & Piper Davidson. That's their undercover names as husband & wife.''
Bruce puts his hand on the man's shoulder.
Bruce-''This man here is Carlo Reed.''
