The Precinct. Captain Bruce Willis was in his office chatting to Carlo Reed and Michelle Shaw. Reed was sitting across from Bruce at the desk with his feet up on the desk as Shaw was relaxing on the couch tossing a tennis ball up in the air and catching it.
Bruce-''I'm just glad it wasn't you that blew up a building in Italy this time.''
Reed-''Come on, B. You gotta let that go.''
They all chuckled.
Shaw-''*Tosses the ball up* So, Captain. *catches it* Got any cases for us yet?''
Bruce-''Nothing yet. I know you two are waiting to do your first case here in Cincinnati.''
Reed lit up two cigarettes and handed Bruce one.
Bruce-''You two should enjoy the break. You both worked too hard this past year.''
Reed-''Thanks, B. We don't mind taking it easy for a while. *looks at Shaw* Right, Mick?''
Shaw-''*Smiles at Reed* Yeah, we don't mind at all.''
They smiled at each other and then they both quickly shook off their trance and Bruce noticed it as he smirked.
Reed-''So, B. What case are you working on these days?''
Bruce-''I'm just being Captain today. Closed a kidnapping case a couple of days ago. Don't worry, the little girl got home safely.''
Reed & Shaw-''Thank goodness.''
Bruce smiled.
Reed-''*Whistles* Mick!''
Shaw tossed the tennis ball to Reed and he caught it. Then Reed and Shaw started tossing the ball back and forth to each other as Bruce chuckled at them.
Bruce-''It's like being at work with children.''
Reed-''*Tosses the ball to Shaw* Wanna join us, B?''
Bruce-''No.''
Shaw caught it.
Bruce-''I got paperwork to do.''
Shaw-''*Tosses the ball to Reed* Should we go?''
Reed caught it.
Bruce-''No, it's ok.''
Reed tossed the ball to Shaw and she caught it.
Bruce-''Just don't break my windows.''
Reed-''Sure thing, B.''
Bruce chuckled as Reed & Shaw continued tossing the ball back & forth.
Later That Night. A local band named Deranged was rocking out on stage as they played in a bar and the crowd was loving them! Once the show was over, the band headed to the bar for drinks as the lead singer, Benji Davids, headed to the back room to talk to the band manager.
