We're Where Now!?

Above us was Santa's sled, being pulled by reindeer in midair.

"Tell me you're getting this." Katie told me.

"I gave it to Teddy." I told her. I lifted the camera in Teddy's hands and he realized that he didn't film it. The reindeer moved ever so slowly.

"Let's go in." I said as I saw a lamp post we could climb. Lucy jumped on me and I carried her. Kate followed after. We jumped on a truck and then a shed, and Kate climbed on the lamppost.

"Girls, wait!" Teddy said before running after us. Katie went first, while I was still carrying Lucy. "Be careful." I told her.

Teddy climbed up and grabbed her leg. "What are you doing?" He asked her. "Do you realize how big of a deal this is? I need to get a closer look."

"Get down." He whispered in fear of getting caught.

"No way. Hand me the camera." He hesitated but gave it to her. She grabbed it.

"Be careful, you break your neck and Mom will kill me!" He said. I pushed him aside a little and started climbing too.

"Lena, get back down here!" He said.

"Sorry, Theodore, but this could probably be a once-in-a-lifetime thing." I said and I continued climbing.

Katie was at the very top and looked to see if she can jump in, she climbed to the other side and jumped. Teddy tried to stop her but it was too late. She already jumped.

"Come on, Teddy!" I yelled before I jumped in too.

"You gotta be kidding me!" I heard him say under his breath. In a matter of seconds, we felt the sleigh tilt. Lucy, Kate, and I looked over the edge and saw Teddy hanging onto the sleigh.

"Teddy!" Kate said and we both put our hands down to help him up. "Are you crazy?" We pulled him up into the sleigh. Lucy backed up and Teddy landed next to her.

"Why'd you do that?" He whispered to us.

"We wanted a closer look at the sleigh." Kate said.

"And when do you think will be the next time we can do this?" I told him.

"Uhm, next year?" He whispered harshly. We heard Santa doing his magic and we looked over the sleigh and saw him jumping into a house. When he landed he looked over at the sleigh. "Duck!" Teddy said. I accidentally hit my cheek while going down. "Am I bleeding?" I asked Kate. "Just a little but you're fine." She said.

"Did he see us?" I asked Teddy.

"I don't think so. We got enough footage. Let's get outta here." He tried to get out before we stopped him.

"Why don't we just stay here?" Kate suggested.

"Stay here? In the sleigh?" Teddy asked her. He knew she was out of his mind.

"Yeah! How many kids get to ride with Santa in his sleigh on Christmas Eve?"

"No, okay —" Teddy was about to say before Santa got on the sleigh and threw his bag behind him, almost hitting Lucy. I pulled her leash towards me and kept her there and pushed the sack off of us. Lucy was trembling. "Hut!" Santa yelled and the sleigh started going faster. I grabbed onto Kates hand, scared that either we were going to fly off or go too fast.

It was the second one. We went through the clouds while also hearing Santa chant. "On Cupid! On Comet!" And then he yelled in an odd language again. As we went through the clouds and steadied out, we looked over the sleigh again. We smiled and laughed to ourselves. I gave a couple of treats to Lucy for being quiet. I heard the camera beep and saw Teddy recording over Santa's shoulder. I looked at the camera and saw Santa press some buttons. Then the camera goes over to me and Kate.
