My dad went to the door and gave me a pleasant smile. Because I was bawling my eyes out and he saw that I was. My relationship with my dad was good when I was little. My mom would get pretty jealous of my dad because I would hang out with him more than her. I was definitely a Daddy's girl. He was like my best friend who didn't spend as much time with my parents. She was too busy being a genius even though we are twins. She was one grade ahead of me. After she died my mom tried so hard to get me to be around her then when she saw it was going to be difficult she moved on to Bentley. "Why did Mary do it?" I asked wiping the tears away "oh I guess it's time," he said

"One day Mary came home and had a big smile on her face. She was at a movie with a guy named Baden and she cheated on her boyfriend. I know what he did. The next morning she was in the bathroom crying because she was." he couldn't finish the sentence I knew it pregnant 

I went up to my room after laying on my bed and closed my eyes.

I felt my window open and the gust of air and hearing footsteps startled me "yes i am the reason" Baden said walking over to my bed "i told her to do it she wanted to kill the bab so i told her that she can kill herself and my child" hearing him say that made me more upset. And cry more. "Ok sage comes on," he said, coming over to my side of my bed and lifting me up to sit behind me and let me lay on him. "Im sorry im really sorry"he put his chin on my head "why are you doing this im not mary or Ruby or ally," i said wiping the tears away "let's go for a drive" he picked me up and walked me out of my room to the living room and saw my dad "Mr Crawford can i take sage on a drive please?" Baden asked my dad, nodded his head and out the front door we went.

We sat there in silence for a while. Until he finally spoke up "you remember the first time I met you. Second grade at recess you told me that ruby had a crush on me. Then in sixth-grade ruby asked me out but at the time i said yes you fell and twisted your ankle and hit your head so i picked you up and took you to the nurse. You were making jokes about it saying "I guess you can say I fell for you" and that amazing incredible laugh is what got me stuck. The eighth grade came and you had so many guys flaunting for you and you were so clueless. You remember when someone put a teddy bear in your locker that was me. And now I have you it was never ruby or Mary, it was you sage. I was in love with you" he finished. Looked at him and smiled "you love me" i asked "yes" I grabbed his hand and held it there "sage i love you to the point i want to marry you "
