***ELENA'S POV***
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and 6:30am. Time to get ready. I started with my hair, I brushed it out and left it natural. Just my luck it looked good today. I brushed my teeth and put on some make up. I started with my foundation, then i put on some brown eye shadow (my usual look), and then added a little mascara to make my eye lashes look longer. I look good, I thought to myself.
I went to my closet and picked out a white button up shirt, the kind that are girlie in a cute way and some black leggings to go underneath. I added some black uggs to the mix. I looked good today not a hair out of place. But it was cold outside and i didn't have a black jacket to match my outfit. When at the moment I remembered I had Damon's jacket. Well it would look good with what I'm wearing......Ok so I'll wear Damon's jacket, but I'll be careful with it. I wouldn't want to ruin it before I returned it to him.
I heard two honks and Bonnie yelling. I looked at my clock it was 7:15am. Great I was late. I usually met Bonnie outside at 7:10am.
"Hold on Bonnie on my way down!" I yelled hoping she could hear me. I ran up too her car already seeing disappointment on her face.
"First day and your already late." Bonnie said shaking her head.
"Sorry Bonnie, you'll never guess what happened." I said smiling already thinking about Damon for the second time today.
"I feel good drama coming on!!" Bonnie said in her I have to know everything voice.
"Well......Last night when I was driving home from you house I ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. I fell asleep and I woke up to the most handsome man on this earth; knocking on my window!"
"Ooh, what did he look like?" Bonnie said now even more interested.
"He was tall, raven black hair, pale complexion, and steal blue eyes." "Not to mention he had the most amazing jaw bones in the world!"
"Mmmmhmmm I think Elena Gilbert has fallen hard for Mr. Mysterious." Bonnie said laughing at me. I scowled back at her.
"He gave me his leather jacket too." I said looking at it on me. He smelt so good.
"We are going to the grill tonight." Bonnie said out of nowhere. I was about to ask her why when she said, "I just have a feeling we are going to see him there tonight." Bonnie and her (feelings). Her gran told her she was a witch a couple days ago and shes been acting like a professional every since, its funny because we both knew her gran was drunk at the time, but it added some humor to our lives.
"Your really going to run this witch thing into the ground arn't you?" I asked laughing.
"Pretty much." She said smiling.

Bonnie and I got to school about 15minutes later, its a small town so everything is a little spread out. As we pulled up Caroline approached us. Caroline was my other best friend and Bonnie's too. Caroline was the cheer captain and was also going for Miss Mystic Fall this year; the towns high school pageant, whoever won was given the title Miss Mystic falls and Caroline was most likely going to win she was a go getting and got everything she went after.
"Bonfire is tonight and you two are coming." Caroline said handing us flyers.
"Elena and I are going to the grill tonight." Bonnie said reminding me again.
"Well you can go to the grill before the bonfire." Caroline said. "Come on guys this is going to be our year, and since your going to the grill before the bonfire you guys can bring food." She said handing me money. "Get appetizers to go and bring them to the bonfire for me please." She said, knowing we would have no option but to come now since she needs us.
I looked at Bonnie she noded. "Fine we'll come, but only because you need us." I said giving in. She smiled knowing she had won.
That when the bell rang. Bonnie and I left for history our first class of the day. I never liked history, its always been a hard subject for me. Plus this year we had Mr. Tanner a real dick. I was so not looking foward to this class.
