The Manifestation

*Flashback*---

Izuku’s POV

It was my fourth birthday and it was time for me to get up to go to the doctors. My mom calls me from downstairs “Izuku sweetie, it's time for you to get ready to go to the doctors!” I yell back “Okay mommy!”. As I called back I started to get clothes from the closet. -I wonder what my quirk is going to be! Father and mommy are going to be so proud of me!- I have been homeschooled for most of my life. Father has always been strict. He kept an eye on me, everything that I did, every move I’d made, father was always right next to me. Mommy’s quirk wasn’t really strong but she was really smart, she taught me everything that I know now.

As I made my way downstairs I was getting really nervous. Mom and father were sitting at the table waiting for me so we could eat breakfast before going. “Here my baby, I made pancakes for breakfast.” mommy said in a soft tone. I was excited to eat the fluffy looking pancakes, as I was about to take a bite father spoke up, “Inko, if you keep treating him like that he’s gonna become spoiled.” father said. I looked up at mommy and she had a sheepish grin on her face, “It’s okay dear it's his birthday he deserves to be spoiled a little.” she said in her gentle tone winking at me. Father huffed a  sigh and went back to reading the newspaper.

TIME SKIP

As we walked into the hospital I became very nervous. Not only was I nervous but I was excited. I was holding Mommy’s hand which made some of my nerves go away. -I’m getting a quirk!! Will Father be proud of me? Will I be able to become a hero?! I wanna be just like AllMight!- I thought to myself as we walked into the waiting room. We were waiting for about 30 minutes before a nurse called Mommy and I to the back room. We went inside and saw a man sitting in a chair behind a desk. -Wow… he’s old- I thought then slapped a hand over my mouth. I looked up at mommy and the man, they were both looking at me with concern. I sigh to myself and thought -That was close I thought I said that out loud-. The man talked with mommy and then he left for a moment to see my results.

I was getting really nervous. The man hasn’t come back and it's already been 30 minutes. I looked over to see mommy looking down at me with a small smile. “It’s okay honey, he’ll be back soon he just has to make sure everything looks good.” I nodded my head with a bit of relief coming over me. After mommy had said that the doctor man had come back. “I’m sorry that it took so long we had to double check his quirk.” Mommy glanced at me then looked back at the doctor searching for answers in his eyes. “Don’t worry Mrs. Midoriya, your son has a quirk but,” he paused for a second and glanced at me, “your son's quirk is called Obey.” Mommy looked at me with wide eyes as tears began to threaten to fall. I looked at Mommy and then turned to the doctor and asked “Excuse me…. What is ‘obey’?” the doctor looked at me and said “Son I hate to say this but your quirk makes you obey anyone that says ‘I command you’” as the doctor said those words my body stopped moving as he continued to explain.

Inko’s Pov
    The doctor started to explain my son's quirk as he was talking to my son. I had a million thoughts going through my head -What is my husband going to say? What is going to happen to my baby? What’s going through my son’s head?- As I came back from my thoughts I heard the doctor still talking about his quirk, I looked at Izuku and he had stopped moving and his eyes were glazed over. I gasped and caught the doctors attention, “What is it Mrs. Midoriya?” the doctor asked, he turned his attention to Izuku and saw the state that he was in. “Oh no” he said in a worried tone which made me even more worried than I was before. “What is it, doctor? What happened to my son?!” I demanded. The doctor slowly looked over to me, it was like everything was happening in slow motion. He then spoke up and said

“It seems like I triggered his quirk to manifest… I’m sorry Mrs. Midoriya, I didn’t know it would manifest this quickly.”

So I made this in a rush. Well not a rush but it was what came to mind so lemme know what you guys think 🤣❤️
