I kinda watched an Anime show and it was seriously so cute that it inspired me to make this! Lurking in the darkness while making this story by the way... I guess this story wasn't what I expected though so it pretty much is sucks but at least I updated.
They misjudged him. Nobody wants him to be his friend. He just wants to have fun and share it with the entire school. He wasn't really intending to injure them anyway. He thinks that all of them should loosen up and laugh along with his mischievous pranks. Now all the students pretended he was invisible. And his life was miserable and his mischief act got worse out desperate attention.
They misjudged her. Nobody wants her to be her friend. She just wanted to help them all and wants to have a good reputation in the entire school. She thinks that they should stop bullying her just because she has the ability to read their minds unintentionally. Now all the students are picking on her. Now she was notoriously known in the school. And the bullying caused her brainwashed 'I-don't-care' personality to be released from the pit of sadness. The only friends that she made before real friends were lanterns. Its soft glow makes her almost feel like herself.
Almost.
Rapunzel, shrugging off the insults that clouded her that made her heart feel heavy, had a piece of paper with a tape clinging onto her back of the uniform's blouse with a very large hand writing that says 'F R E A K' and the constant nasty glares by the students that rippled with hate, found herself in the midst of walking along the aisle till she meet up with her best, not to mention, only friends. Of course, she heard a lot of echoe-y voices that made her way through her ears, unintentionally hearing their thoughts.
It was the same darn old thing... Creepy, weirdo, freak, annoying little psycho, it gets old... Yet it still hurts. She learned to deal with it and put on the most stoic face you could ever see as she brisk walked across the hall to break up the mask and let her emotions spill out in the Girl's bathroom. I mean, the green-eyed girl had every right reasons to cry. She lost her family, lost her step-mother, lost an animal whom she can relate to (a stray cat whom she named it Pascal) and she lived in a cold, cruel world.
Jack made his way, with a hoodie jacket concealing his white-bleached hair, to the school's corridors where fits of laughter filled through the atmosphere. His face lightened up and happy thoughts swiveled in his head saying, 'Well, now they learned how to have fun!' Or 'Mission accomplished!'
But boy was he wrong.
They were hurling insults at a girl with a blonde hair who had a tensed yet a straight face but the prankster of the school knew that hurt was swirling in her innocent green eyes. And this was no prank at all. It was sadistic happiness, at least that's what Hiccup the school's student leader of the school would tell him in an annoyed way. On the brighter note, at least he learned how to be in the person's shoes. Speaking of shoes, he hates wearing the school shoes or shoes in general...
Wait, no time for talking about his despicable shoes, time to see what is more going on in this incident! He forced his way to the crowd to get a clearer view of her. Again, the boy was misjudged. Despite having a great passion for being a mischief-maker, the boy had a heart of gold. He does not hesitate to help people and no he wasn't anticipating for anything good in return. As he reached beside him, with the thoughts of maybe trying to be friends with her and before he even give her a pat on the shoulder, she faced him with her eyes wide out of shock. Jack, surprised at her sudden movement, was taken aback.
Rapunzel's eyes looked as though it was about to pop out of her any minute when she was eye-wide. A special someone wants her to be her friend? Who is he exactly? The crowd disperse as the school bell rang, "Um, are you alright there, blondie?" He inquired as he removed the paper from her back, read it, scowl at the harsh insult and tore the paper into pieces, crumpling it. Rapunzel, well, she couldn't do anything but slowly digest exactly what's going on, sinking herself into deep thoughts. His voice was actually soothing to her ears, in all honesty. It sounds chill yet genuine and sincere.
She snapped from her reverie when a hand waved in front of her face, giving out a millisecond squeak, "Oh! I'm... I'm fine..." Her throat felt dry and inwardly flinch at what she said, Fine? An echoey voice said. It was Jack's inner thoughts, Doesn't seem like it... "No really I'm... I'm more than fine, really," She blurted out in a stammered voice, she wasn't used to socialising and this was her first time talking to a person properly. I'm sure, from her personal experience of seeing him sometimes at the school corridors pranking people and being insulted at as well, that neither was he used to interacting with people.
"Hey, wait... I didn't say anything..." Jack said skeptically as we both walk to class, "Um..." The blonde began to walk a little faster than him, ambivalent of the current situation she has been. For starters, she doesn't know what to do if she ever have had any friends, Whoa she's one weird gal... I like it! Warmth spread across her cheeks when she once again pryed into his thoughts. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all, she would think.
Silence flooded their way of how to start a conversation, but at least they get to enjoy a little silence, "I'm Rapunzel," She had found her sweet innocent voice at the right time as she played a few strands of her hair, "Uh... Cool name I guess?" He awkwardly murmured saying the compliment out as a question, his thoughts going around in circles.
"And you must be Jack Frost huh?" A faint smile manage to curve up her lips as he awkwardly rake his hand through his hair nut his icy cool blue eyes sparked with curiosity and of course Rapunzel, taking more than a hint, replied with, "I'm a mind reader which is kinda why I'm..." She doesn't wanna remind herself though so she let her voice falter down, holding back the tears.
"Hey, hey... it's fine..." Jack's hand was placed on her shoulder, making her face burn.
And since then, they became good friends.
It sucks. Nuff said.
