I should've known. [ HELLUVA BOSS ] [ Striker x Blitzo]

It was cold, the campfire had died
And only tiny tints of fire was left
As smoke came out of it,
As striker was asleep peacefully
Blitzo, was awake. The Moon
Shown through the broken windows
ans landed on blitzo's direction,
He looked over at striker, before
Taking a deep sigh.

"Guess we all are born with parts to
play"  Blitzo looked over at the wall
behind which had 3 posters on it,
old and a bit torn. One had Verosika Mayday, Fizzaroli.. And Stolas.
"Some of us are stars, and some of us are just in the way." Blitzo turned and
started to walk away, he saw a wooden old sword on the ground
and picked it up and raised it in
the Air. "I know I was meant for glory" Blitzo slowly lowered the sword down
"but that's never what my story brings." blitzo sighed and walked
out the warehouse into the cold windy night
"And yet I keep on waiting."
Bombproof had woken up, the
horse raised his head and saw
blitzo, but the Imp had not seemed
to noticed the horse.
"When you have the passion and
the drive" Blitzo Continued, he
Remembers back when he first
joined the circus, and then opened
up I.M.P "You expect your moments centre stage, to arrive" but no one
seemed to have seen him anything
more than a imp. "I show up
with heart ablazing, ready to achieve amazing things" blitzo stopped
infront of a steep hill, which led
to a cave. He jumped and glided
down, leaving a trail of sand
Flying up in the air, he jumped
again and landed on the ground
On his feet
"But I'm left waiting in the wings!"
He ran inside the cave and discovered an entire underground with cliff's
everywhere, and infront of him was
Small cliff's acting like a path deeper
into the cave, below was a bottomless pit, there were holes in the ceiling's
letting in the moon's light in
"I hear my Cue, and yet I'm left
there waiting." he took broad
jumps to get to the other side,
"Know what to do, and yet
I stand there waiting."
He reached the other side and
as he landed small dust flew as
his feet landed, he was now standing
infront of a dark path, but he
kept going anyway.
"Its always someone else who
sings, while I'm left there waiting
In the wings"
He started to run, he felt as if
he was running in a race to be at
the top and everyone was
Infront of him as he was
struggling to catch up,
"And so I keep on Keeping on!"
There was 2 boulders infront of
him, blocking out his path as
he was now slowed down and
couldn't keep going on the race
he had made up in his mind,
"My choices come" and he
was desperate he walked up to
the bolders and used up all
his strength and pushed them
apart, "and Then I blink and their Gone!" he then saw Verosika
and Fizzarolli and stolas
In the middle infront of
him looking down upon him
"Always looked unfairly, while
pretending that it barely stings"
They then turned to golden
ribbons and flew away
"But it stings, yes it stings!"
Blitzo ran a few steps before
standing and swiping his arm
away at nothing, with a look
of Deternimation on his face
"And I'll shed no tears! I'll only
keep on waiting"
"If no one cheers, Well, I can
keep on waiting!"
He ran once again, still
Having the wooden sword
in hand "who cares how
Loud the Silence Stings"
He saw Everyone infront of him
again, Verosika, Fizzarolli, Moxxie and Millie, and Loona, and Stolas.
He tried to run faster and
reach for them, but then they
all had turned into golden
Ribbons and flew away,
he tried to catch them all,
but he stopped in his tracks
As the path led to a dead end
And what seemed to have been
the rest of the path was gone,
Fallen. He dropped on his knees
and sighed in defeat.
"You'll find me waiting in the wings"

Blitzo had walked back to the
warehouse to find Bombproof
waiting for him, the horse
Neighed and trotted around,
Blitzo smiled and walked up
to the horse and gently
Stroked its face, calming it
down.

Blitzo looked over to the
moon, it was as bright and
cold as ever, he took a deep
breath.

"Just keep on waiting."

Not so far, in a mansion,
Octavia remained awake.
She was out in her balcony
the wind blowed harshly in
the distance, she breathed
in the night air, she
Still refuses to let her
father's almost death go,

Whoever has done this, she
knew is still out there, and
will strike again. She didn't
wanted to lose her father,
Not ever.

Luckily, she knew where to
get help.

Stolas was in the kitchen,
He was pouring in cereal
Into his bowl and then added
Milk, he sighed sadly. As he
looked down into his bowl
of cereal, but that wasn't what
he sad about.

"What are you doing?"

Stolas jumped up in suprise and
nearly spilled his cereal, luckily
he caught it in his hands and placed
it back down onto the table
As he quickly looked at the
direction of the voice, and
look over and behold, standing
over by the entrance hallway
To the kitchen, was stella.
Having her resting Irritated
Face as usual, arms crossed.
"U-Um.. B-Breakfast?" stolas
choked out, smiling awkwardly
As he held his hands together
and hunched over, as if he
was expecting an object thrown
his way, which he did.

"breakfast? In the middle of the
night?" stella raised an eyebrow
An eyebrow at stolas, who
laughed awkwardly
"Umm... I guess a Midnight
Snack?" he responded.
"How about you? Hmm? You
Should be resting." stolas
changed the subject
"tsk. Shouldn't YOU be the one
At rest?" stella looked away.
stolas laughed once again
awkwardly "Y-Yes, you are right."

"And besides, I have duties to
attend to as a Goetia, Unlike you
Who slacks." Stella spat, which
made stolas frown.
stolas opened his beak
And was about to respond
but stella cut him off,
"You should go back to bed,
Octavia would want you to
rest." Stella then walked
away into the darkness
leaving stolas behind,
In the dark.
