Chapter 10

"Kook do we have to get out of bed?" Carl snuggled in to Jungkook not wanting to let him go.
"I got work.."
"But just a few more minutes please"
"Fine." Jungkook moved To place a kiss on Carl's lips as he snuggled up to him some more. Not wanting to leave the bed.

"Right I have to move." Reluctantly getting up and moving to the kitchen Jungkook threw some toast under the grill and went to freshen up.
"Kook..." Carl called over from the bed.
"I'm running late now babe. I'm sorry I have to rush."
Pouting Carl sat up. He smiled sweetly at kook.
"Fine." Jungkook placed a quick but soft loving kiss on Carl's lips as he grabbed his bag and ran out the door.
Carl snuggling back into bed knowing he has no plans for the day.

The hospital busy and everyone rushing around as many ambulances come flooding in.
"What's happened?"
"Apartment fire."
"Oh right well let's get to work then."
Jungkook gloves up and rushed out to help the people flooding through the doors.
Not knowing much else, he caries on with work as normal.

"I don't think he knows"
"Oh well where is he I think he should know."
"His in surgery so we can't tell him."
"But if we wait..."
"I know but.."
As doctors stop talking they turn round to see Jungkook walking towards them smile on his face.
"That was hard but so happy we managed to save him. Now who's next?"
The nurse with Jungkook smiles..
"That's them all I think sir."
With that Jungkook looks up and see his colleagues standing there looking scared.
"Hey what's up?"
"Oh Urm..."
The look on their faces had Jungkook worried. He knew that something was wrong but didn't know what.
"So do you know where the fire was?"
"No why?"
"Well Urm it was your apartment block."
"What no Carl!!"
Jungkook goes to take his phone out his pocket but is stopped by one of the doctors.
"Urm I'm sooo sorry we tried our best but it seems he was the worst as the fire came from your apartment, and we... I'm so sorry!"
Jungkooks face turns pale as he looks at his colleges.
"Where is he??"
"Urm room 6"
Jungkoook sprinted off to room 6 not knowing what he could do. Not really wanting to except what he has just been told.
As he turns the corner into the room the tears start to fall as his eyes take sight of his boyfriend body lying on the bed in front of him.
The burns covering 90% of his body. Jungkook could just about make out that he was still in his pjs.
He must have still been in bed when it happened.
Moving slowly to the bed side he takes Carl's hand and breaks down.

"It was my fault! It was all my fault. If I had just remembered the toast, if I had just remembered."
"But it was just an accident kook. It was just an accident"
Jungkooks siater wraps her arms around his shoulders as he sobs quietly. His breathing hard and all the memories of that day flooding back to him.
The guilt the hate he has for him self. Everything...
