Blade-

"Make him think you love him, take his money, then you dip-"

"Sing that and I'll tell Apollo." I warned Val. She discovered tik tok while going through Cherry's phone and now she won't get off the shit. All she do is go around the house singing them songs. Half of the time she just mumbling, she don't even be knowing the words.

"Apollo said I can sing if I blur out bad words and I didn't say anything bad."

"The song itself is bad." I said. She tilted her head. I could tell she was confused. "It's not bad, it's just...not for kids."

"I'm six!"

"And that's a kid." I shrugged my shoulders. Val pouted and crossed her arms. I'm watching her, Apollo left to get food for us. Sev should be coming over later, I don't know about Cherry because he's going through something right now, he wants to be alone though, so we're respecting that.

"Blade, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Nope." I answered simply. Val thought about it for a bit. "Do you have a...boyfriend?" She asked. Apollo and I are together, but we aren't together. We kiss, and shit while we're alone, but not around anyone. There are absolutely no hints given.

I don't think things are serious. I know I said I wanted him to be mines, but I wasn't even thinking straight for real, I'm sure if I went to go fuck another bitch, Apollo would whoop my ass. Could he be that mad though?

Technically...we're not together. So he can't. I don't have to worry about Apollo fucking other people because he didn't do it in the first place.

"No, I'm a free man. No relationships needed."

"Hmm, my brother haves a boyfriend. He is so nice, he used to bring us food and juice! He brought me toys. He haves a cat too."

Then it dawned on me. Did she even know her brother was dead? I mean she did hear the gun shot when he killed himself, but did she know what it meant? I looked over at her to see her smiling all happy about her brother's boyfriend.

"His boyfriend has a sister too! She's nice also, she let me do her makeup."

"Where do you think Sally is?" I asked out of curiosity. Val shrugged her shoulders. "He's probably with Oliver maybe. Or maybe at work. He works a lot, but Sally won't be here until a long time, he said."

Damn. She didn't know, at all.

"But if he comes back soon then you can meet him! He'll be happy because I gave the rescuers the money like he said! And he'll be proud I learned my name."

Do I simplify it for her right now or do I leave it? Like should we wait until she's older to tell her? Either way that's not something I'll be able to say. Apollo would have to tell her, he would be better at explaining it at a six year old level. I might just blurt that shit out and say the whole truth.

"I'm sure he would." I nodded, agreeing with the happy little girl.

"When I learn how to spell my name, can I get four cats?"

Four cats? Who in their right mind would want four cats. Cats aren't even fun. They're little assholes that want to be independent, but they rely on humans.

"You gotta ask Apollo."

"But, Apollo always says yes to you Blade." She whined. I sucked my teeth. "No he don't." She crossed her arms saying he did. Apollo's don't listen to shit I say. Basically he the one that got me in a choke hold. He's bossy and mean.
