Chapter fourteen

Blade-

It's thanksgiving tomorrow and everyone have somewhere to be, yet none of us have official plans. So here we are trying to make some. We don't want to be split up the entire day so we're trying to make it to where we will see each other at some point.

"I say we all just house jump, I'll take all the food." I said leaning back on couch.

"My family isn't doing anything this year, we don't have to go there."

We all mugged Cherry at his suggestion. "We'll stop by there too, I could get plates from my mothers house for your parents if you want." Apollo said making Cherry smile at him.

"I'm not staying at my house long, my homophobic ass Aunty gonna be there." Sevyn said. Most of Sevyn's family accepted him and his sexuality. It's just his older cousin and her husband that stay talking.

"The one that Blade went with?" Cherry asked. I didn't even date her, that was before I even knew she was related to Sev and that she was in a whole relationship. Apollo's head whipped towards me. He squinted his eyes a bit before looking away. I sucked my teeth.

"That was mad long ago, like before I knew Apollo." I said looking at him to let him know it was like a year ago. I don't feel like being around him and his attitude.

"Xan and them having a little get together at Ram's house too. Y'all wanna stop by?" Apollo said. Cherry immediately nodded. Obviously because he's friends with the twins. Sevyn looked over at me while I mugged Apollo.

"I don't wanna go see your homies."

It wasn't even that I disliked them anymore. Ram funny as hell. Xan is cool, I guess. The twins are annoying. It's just that nigga Q. I've been around them a couple more times and I swear that nigga got something up his sleeve or something.

We never talked again after the bathroom situation, he just been eyeing me.

Apollo told me to ignore it. He IsN't LiKe ThAt he says. I trust Pollo. I don't think the nigga is trying to do anything funny. Like I'm not in danger or shit like that. The nigga just seem off. "Come on Blade. They're nice." Cherry said. He don't even know the niggas for real.

"So we'll go to Sevyn's first, then we'll go to mines, then we can go to Cherry's. Then we'll go to Ram's."

It's been two hours since the whole planning thing. Sev and Cherry went to Sev's house and Apollo stayed at my house. We decided to stay in pairs to make it easier to be on time to every house. We'll see how that goes.

"Do you want to stop by your peoples house at all?"

I shook my head no. I didn't even wanna try popping up, if they called and invited me I would have no problem with stopping by, but until then I'm staying where I'm at.

"You sure? We can."

"I don't want to go."

Apollo dropped the subject immediately. That's something I like about him. He'll ask two times and if he knows you don't want to talk about it, he'll leave it. I hate when people try to pressure someone into talking. Shit, I might do it sometimes, but I don't mean any harm.

Apollo leaned over to kiss me. He left pecks all over my face before he laid back down. We said our goodnights before going to sleep.

"Y'ALL NIGGAS CAN'T DO NOTHING RIGHT." I yelled into the phone. I was on the phone with Sevyn. We said we'll go to his house at 11. His family is always cooking early. The food be damn near served. They just want to eat and have everyone out of they house. They prepare most of the food the day before.
