Murder In The Attic

Introducing a character who hasn't been in the picture that much but will be later in the story. She may be quiet in school, but she is wild when she's around her closest friends. This is none other than Isabella.
Madelyn's POV
"I love Seth". That rummaged through my mind the rest of the night. I went into the attic where I gave Seth the food and we talked.
"You know, after all we've been through I'm surprised were still as close as we are."
"Why wouldn't we be Mads?You've been my best friend since day 1, you've helped me get through a lot here lately and I can't thank you enough." Seth said kissing my forehead.
I smile. "I don't know. I've been really crappy to you and everything with Austin that's been happening. I can't believe he knocked up Peyton."
"I know. That poor girl." " You should be glad it isn't you though."
"That would ruin my life." I told Seth
"If I ever got a girl pregnant, I would support her because it's my responsibility but knowing Austin, he's gonna be an abusive horrible person."
I look at him. "I don't know why Peyton had to choose him. I wish she would've chose someone like you."
"Why someone like me?" Seth questioned.
"Because, you're an amazing human being and your personality is great. You're so selfless and I know you would step up and be the dad you should be."
Seth looked at me and smiled. It became awkward because no one knew what to say. He kept staring at me as if he wanted to say something.
"Are you going to sa" my voice is interrupted by Seth kissing me.
"What was that for?" I asked smiling
"It was a thank you for everything. And because I kinda like you."
I blush. "Well it just so happens that I kinda like you too." I said kissing him.
"Now I have to go to bed and I'll wake you up in the morning." I said softly considering he was already half asleep.
"Okay. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." I said
I turn out the light but before I close that attic door he calls for me.
"Yeah?"
"I love you." Seth said faintly
I was shocked. Seth said he loved me. I didn't know what to do. Before I could do anything my trail of thought was interrupted by Seth again.
Seth got up. "Did you hear me?" He said close to my face.
"I love you." He said smiling.
"I love you too." I said hugging him.
"Now get some rest. I don't want my parents to find out you're here."
I walk downstairs to my the kitchen.
"Hey mom."
"Hi honey."
"How was the appointment today?"
"Well it turns out we're having one boy and one girl!" My mom said cheerfully
"Wow." I say "that's great." I said hugging her.
"I'm gonna go to bed now. Love you night." I said as I am walking towards my room.
"Love you too sweetie. Sweet dreams." My mother said.

I wake to the sound of " Ready or Not" by the Fugees.
Wow. What a coincidence that my alarm song is similar to the note I got the night before. I groggily go to the attic to wake up Seth. I pretty much just kick the door and told him to get up.
I then go back to my room and grab a pair of leggings, a grey tank top and a white, cream colored cardigan. I put my hair in a French braid then apply my everyday makeup. I grab my bag and head downstairs to see nobody. I walk upstairs to the attic and open the door.
Seth was gone. I looked around for a note but their wasn't one. I walked to Peyton's room and ask her if she's seen Seth. Her words were "obviously not" . Like that helped any. I thought maybe he went to school early. So when I get to school, he's more of the objective of the day.

I park my car and off into the school I go. I was eager to see him after what had happened but I wanted to know why he left so early. I walk into the schools double doors to see him. He's talking to somebody though. As a crowd cleared I saw who it was. It was none other than Isabella. She had her arm brushed up against his and in all honesty, Isabella could date anybody she wanted, but not Seth. I don't know what Seth and I are but I'm pretty sure were something. I thought Isabella was cool, but she needs to know where to not step on the line.
