Chapter 7

This is Austin. I don't have much to say other than he is a terrible human being in this book.

Maddie's POV
I start to head towards Seth's direction when he looks over and smiles at me. He then starts to head towards me to meet me halfway, still having Isabella by his side.
"Hi Seth." I blurt out while smiling awkwardly at Isabella.
"Hi Isabella."
"Hi." They said in unison.
It got awkward real quick. I hadn't even made eye contact Isabella since I used to insult her and bully her. It really wasn't a choice. My personality was chosen for me since I had started that relationship with Austin. He made me do things I didn't want to, bullying Skylar and Isabella being one of them. I have yet to officially apologize to Isabella. Skylar knows about it so she knows.
As of right now I don't know if Skylar and I are on the best terms. I haven't talked to her since the wedding and since yesterday I don't whether to be mad at her or not. She probably knew that Austin got Peyton pregnant, yet she didn't tell me. I will just have to wait and see.
"Well Seth, I'm gonna go, I have to go study with my friend for our Spanish test. I'll talk to you later." Isabella said softly and nervous - like.
"Oh okay. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Said Seth
She was grinning nervously at me.
I'm tired of people being scared of me. It was about to change.
"Seth I'll be back."
"Isabella! Wait up! She looked like she was gonna pee down her leg.
"I have to apologize for everything. I'm sorry I bullied you. I didn't want to but I had no choice. I will explain everything just come to the party tonight. I would appreciate it if you came. You can meet me in the attic. If you want to talk alone or whatever. It starts at 7:00 but you can come early to hang out while we set up."
"I think I might be busy." She said as if she thought I was going to scream at her for declining an invite.
"Oh." I said
"But if I'm not I will show up. I'll probably meet you in the attic. I wanna know everything."
"Okay. See you maybe." I said smiling then turning back to head towards Seth.
Seth was smiling.
"Now was it that so hard?"
"Shut up." I said shoving him playfully.
"Hey that's not nice." Seth said sarcastically
"You don't know the full story but you will tonight." I said winking.
"I will see you after third period?" He said questioning me.
"Yep."
He started to walk away from me.
I cleared my throat loud enough for him to hear.
"Yes?" He turned around questioning.
I act like I was ignoring him playfully. He comes up to me and kisses me. It's the first time he kissed me in public. I see a lot of staring and a lot of jaws dropping. Nobody expected me to date Seth considering his label. Well if people knew the real me then they would know I'm not into labels.
After this party, I'm really going to show myself and settle down. I'm gonna focus on my grades and maybe look for an internship. I think Peyton will too,considering she's going to be a teen mom. She hasn't told my parents yet but she plans to after this weekend.
I just want to have a good time tonight with my friends. I want a clean,fun, weekend with everyone. I don't want to bring any alcohol or an ugly substance into this house. I want Isabella to understand the situation I was in and how sorry I am. I saw the hurt in her green, innocent eyes and I knew I hurt her, I wanted to desperately help her and tell her the first couple times it happened but every time I got close to her she would run away from me. Honestly, I don't blame her.
I didn't think the bullying would've gotten as bad as it did. The first time I saw the cuts on her arm I felt like I was slowly murdering an innocent girl. She did nothing to me, yet I was hurting her. I didn't want to even see her after that because I could see the happy, fun girl go to a depressed girl who felt like she had no hope left when she did. I'm so glad Seth got her clean.
He is literally a life saver. He doesn't get the credit he deserves and I feel as if it was partially my fault.
