╚═════ ∘◦ ❈ ◦∘ ══════╝DEATH WASN'T SOMETHING ANYONE THOUGHT OF OFTEN, IT WAS UNSPOKEN TERRITORY. They say no one truly knows what's on the other side until you're on the other side. Is there a heaven, a hell, an afterlife? What was there? Was the question of life. Amara thought it would be peace, feeling herself back in his arms again. But it wasn't any of that. It was cold, empty, and quiet. That was because she wasn't dead.
Amara gasped loudly as she looked up to the plain metal ceiling. She reached for her chest to find nothing, "What the fuck?" she questioned then looked over to see an older woman who smiled at the sight of her and her alive son.
"Hello darling, I'm Queenie his mother," the woman introduced shaking Amara's hand, "Glad to have you in the family."
The blonde turned to Deckard, "Why are we alive?" she asked.
The man hummed, "Yes, why are we alive mother?"
The woman smiled, "Toretto gave me this thing here," she said holding up some smartwatch, Deckard tried to reach it, "No, no, no. Don't touch. You can track Cipher with this, but you can't do this on your own. There's gotta be three of ya," she said looking at the blonde and her son.
The man nodded, "Fine I've got contacts," he replied.
Queenie shook her head, "No, you're gonna take your brother," she told him seriously.
Deckard rolled his eyes, "Oh dear..."
The woman nodded, "Yes, Toretto knows where he is. He's got this thing. It can see everything. It's like... It's called the Devil's Butt Hole or something," she told him trying to remember.
Amara giggled at the older woman, "God's eye," she corrected the woman.
Queenie nodded, "Yes dear thank you."
Deckard shook his head, "There's no way I'm using Owen, all right? He's a lost cause. I have Amara here," he said patting her thigh as she sat beside him.
Queenie rolled her eyes and looked at Amara, who got her hint.
"Love, look at me," she started her voice soft, "He's your brother, your mother's son, he's family. Brian my brother broke Dom out of jail years ago because that's what family does. Now it's your turn," she told him leaning forward to plant a kiss on his mouth, leaving him for a loss of words.
Queenie looked surprised, "You're good, honestly, you fit right in," the woman said nudging her son.
"Fine, alright I'll do it," he said pinching his nose.
The white-haired woman smiled, "Wonderfull, good luck, and welcome to the family Amara," she said leaning forward and kissing her cheek, grabbing her purse she pats the side of the fake ambulance. Bringing it to a halt, the woman removed herself from the van.
