Idk if I'll ever make another fic on this account lol I just made this account to write this specific fic. The idea came to me while I drove home from work and I just really wanted to write it. I love reading cute littlespace fics and especially little Bakugou so I hope you guys like this :)

This au takes place in the normal BNHA universe, quirks and all that fun stuff.
The only difference is that at the age of 16-17, people go to a testing center and can come out as one of four results; Neutral, Caregiver, Little, and Switch.
A Neutral is just how any normal person would be otherwise.
A Caregiver has a natural instinct to protect and care for others, especially littles, and destresses by caring for them.
A Little regresses into the mindset of a baby, toddler, or kid (age range depends on the person) to cope with stress or past trauma.
A Switch experiences both moments of feeling like a Caregiver and of feeling like a Little, but not to the extent as a normal Caregiver or Little (their experiences are less extreme and tend to last for a shorter amount of time).
A Switch could also be a Neutral/Caregiver or Neutral/Little, usually based around sudden traumatic experiences.
Littles can live normal, independent, adult lives but it's highly encouraged by society for each Little to have at least one registered Caregiver, especially if their headspace ranges to lower toddler-baby.
Caregivers and Littles give off specific scents so they're more easily identified if someone is in need. Everyone's scent if different though and depends on the person and is more of a pheromonal and gut-feeling experience than an actual scent easily recognizable through the nose.
