It'd been two weeks since that incident and Bakugou was getting more comfortable letting himself fall into headspace.
On his own, at least.
When it came to doing it with others around, it was much more difficult.
There'd been more than a few times where he suddenly bolted out of the classroom at the first sign that he was slipping. Or demanded that everyone vacate the kitchen so he could get a snack while little.
Which is why today was an important day.
An important step in accepting his Little side.
A playdate.

Bakugou paced around his room.
"Kat, we can't cancel. You were so stoked about this when you were Little!" Kirishima told him as he packed some toys and other Little supplies in Bakugou's All Might backpack.
"Yeah well Little me is a fucking idiot." The blonde grumbled.
Kiri sighed. Bakugou woke up Little but as it got closer and closer to the scheduled playdate, he started aging up. Which is why Big Bakugou was currently pacing back in forth while wearing shortalls with a black shirt underneath and bright red socks. It was actually kind of a funny combo.
"I know you're nervous but it'll be fun!" Kiri tried to reassure him.
Bakugou grumbled some to himself, crossing and uncrossing his arms as he stormed back and forth.
The more he thinks and overthinks this whole thing, the more he's sure that his nervousness is due to that shitty nerd being there. The idea of Bakugou fully submitting to his little side in front of Deku makes his knees shake. He'd look so weak! So pathetic!
And yeah, he knows he shouldn't think of him being Little as being weak but it's hard! He tries his best to do what his body needs but that doesn't negate the fact that his brain says it's all wrong!
It's just so frustrating!
Especially because he really IS excited about this playdate. Hell, he's been looking forward to his for the past week! When he woke up this morning, he could barely sit still to eat his breakfast because he was so excited. While he loves Kiri and loves playing with Kiri, the idea of being able to play with another little sounded like the fun-est thing on earth! Finally, he'd get to relax with someone else in the same boat as him. But now, here he is, being a stupid nervous wreck!
He didn't even notice with two rough hands landed on his shoulders. Blinking, he realized Kiri was standing right in front of him.
"It's gonna be okay, baby, I'll be right there. If you get too nervous we can leave." The caregiver assured.
Bakugou let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, "I know, I know." He mumbled softly, staring down at the floor.
They embraced for a moment and Bakugou took a few long breaths to calm down more.
"Now, do you wanna drop before or after getting there?" Kiri wondered, leaning back and moving some of Bakugou's bangs from his eyes.
"Before." Bakugou answered. He was barely big right now so dropping back down shouldn't be difficult at all.
