"Do we have everything? We have everything, right?" Jingyi asks as he double checks A-Huan's things. If you were to look at the scene, you would think Jingyi was the parent. "Jingyi, calm down. Hanguang Jun and Senior Wei prepped everything two nights ago," Sizhui says as he ties the bag, filled with baby clothes and silk cotton nappies, around him. "We just have to carry them along so they don't have to worry about any luggage."

"Right, right," Jingyi nods before following Sizhui down the mountain.

Wei Ying and Lan Zhan are already at the bottom, waiting for the juniors before they set off for Yunmeng. The children immediately greet the pair and Wen Ning as they reach the group. "Let's go," Wei Ying says, adjusting his baby in his arms. It was starting to cramp but he did not mind. Lan Zhan notices his partner's discomfort, and instantly takes A-Huan. Wei Ying beams, giving him a peck on the cheek.

The group make their way down the road, and eventually get to the docks. They hop onto one of the Lan Sect's Sampans, the river boats, and settle into the cabins.

They chat amongst themselves excitedly as they approach Lotus Cove, which was already buzzing with activity. Jiang Cheng, true to his word, went all out for his new nephew's one month—as he did not have the chance to do the same for Jin Ling, seeing as his father died on his 1 month celebration.

The group disembarks from the Sampan, and make their way through the pier. Guests from the other sects have yet to arrive, but the main hall already looks to be full of people. Many are prominent figures in the Jiang Sect.

Wen Ning stuck close to the group, still feeling unwelcome on the Jiang Clan's territory. However, many of the clansmen bowed to him in respect, some out of gratitude of being saved during the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds.  He, too, saluted them in return.

"Wei Wuxian," Jiang Cheng's voice rings through the pier from the main hall, and Wei Ying smiles. The young leader salutes his brother and brother-in-law, before taking a peek at A-Huan, sleeping soundly in Lan Zhan's arms. "I have a cot prepared for him, you can lay him down there while you both can take a look at the preparations I made. Feel free to add or remove anything."

"No need," Lan Zhan says coldly, making Jiang Cheng's smile shrink a small bit. Wei Ying nudges his husband's arm, reminding him of his promise. "No need to check the preparations. It is enough," Lan Zhan tries correcting himself, keeping his composure. "Jiang Cheng, thank you for this," Wei Ying smiles at his brother who returns the gesture and nods. "Of course. Then...you can let A-Huan sleep in the cot if you plan on going to the shrine. The juniors can keep watch over him."

"Mn," Wei Ying nods before taking A-Huan from Lan Zhan, who stops himself from protesting. "Wen Ning, you and the kids watch over A-Huan, alright? Sizhui, come with us. Let's introduce you to the family."

Sizhui's eyes widen and his cheeks burn at the sudden invitation.

"W-why?"

"You ask why—this kid, really," Wei Ying sighs, wrapping his arm around Sizhui to drag him off to the ancestral shrine, Lan Zhan following close behind as he gives the cot in the main hall one more glance. "Lan Zhan, why did our kid grow up to be so dense?"
