3 - Alice

A/N
First of all I would like to apologize for the long hiatus!!! I need to stop making excuses because lots of people are busier than I am and update just fine but basically for the past few months here's what happened: I was in a play called Alice @ Wonderland (a modern version), I am desperately trying to get a follow from 5sos, I am a dancer on a team and we are currently in competition season, I was sick for TWO WEEKS and could not stay awake to save my life, plus I had school and all my work from my shitty teachers who decided to MIRACULOUSLY START GIVING US MORE HOMEWORK LIKE WTF ITS TIME FOR STATE TESTING YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BRING THE LEVEL OF WORK DOWN 😂 Also, let me just say that I had this chapter almost COMPLETED but Tim Horton's wifi decided it didn't want me to succeed at life so THE WHOLE THING WAS DELETED. EVERY SINGLE PART. So now, I am sitting here trying not to punch a wall in my rage. Anyway, this A/N is too long but oh well. The outfit alice is wearing when Luke meets her is in the media (imagine the sweatshirt as a tank top) and ALSO WE WON BEST FAN ARMY AT THE IHEART RADIO AWRDS!!! I'm so proud of the Fam and our 5SOS babes. Oh I also tried to get the format right since I didn't edit the last time😂 Enjoy!

Alice's POV
When Luke suggested a game of monopoly, I literally laughed out loud.
"Alright. Just be ready for me to dominate." I say with a twinge of extra ego.
"And who said you are capable of dominating? Calum retorted.
Luke and I just looked at each other and smirked. He knew how good I was at monopoly.
"You're right Calum. No one knows who will dominate. Let's just start." I suggested, all traces of cockiness in my voice gone.
"Ok, who wants to be the banker?" Luke asked.
"I'll do it!" Ashton said excitedly.
"Wow someone's eager. Ok let's get this show on the road! Calum, you can do the honors of going first if you'd like." I say.

"HOW?! NO YOU CHEATED LETS GO AGAIN!" Calum said, obviously astounded.
"How could I have cheated if everyone was making sure I didn't, since you requested I be monitored the third game we played?!" I said.
We had played a whopping 6 games of monopoly and I had one 5 of them, letting Michael win once. The other boys were surprised, but okay with it. Calum on the other hand, couldn't accept it. I guess he didn't like being proved wrong that I in fact could dominate the game.
"I just don't get it. You were second to last a few minutes before the game was over! I thought for sure I was gonna win!" Calum exclaimed.
"Calum I'm sorry, I truly am, but I just can't help the fact that I'm better than you at something." I said coolly, in a matter-of-fact way. I was having way too much fun toying with him.
"Ok. Calum you can throw a fit later, but right now it's almost one in the morning but none of us are tired. What do you guys say about partying?" Ashton said, clearly amused by Calum's frustrated attitude.
"HELL YEAH LETS DO IT!" Michael hollered, clearly full of way too much energy. We probably shouldn't have filled up on all that sugar during the games but oh well.
"Yeah that sounds perfect, except...." I started.
"Except what?" Michael looked at me like I was crazy for possibly saying we skip it and stay in.
"Well, I'd love to party til the sun comes up but I'm still 17." I really wanted to party though.
"Are you joking? Alice, we're 5 Seconds of Summer. We can get in wherever we want and take whoever we want. We have a good time, they get publicity , it's a win win situation. Besides, no one will have to know you're still 17. They won't really care. They just have to act like they do."
There was something in Luke's reassuring tone that made me ignore all the "what ifs" and say, "Fuck it. Let's go guys!"
Or maybe it was the edge in his voice, the overall badass persona he had that was just dead sexy.
This was gonna be a fun night. I could just feel it.

As we arrived at the club, I was surprised that there weren't any paps or fans. Well, I guess living in Ohio is good for something. We almost never get any publicity so we didn't really have to worry about anyone paying attention to us.
"Welcome to Club Liquid!" The bouncer said. "I assume you are all 18 or older."
"Yeah we are!" Luke replied. For some reason, his voice had gotten deeper throughout the course of the night and it was difficult to not throw myself his way. But, as Elsa says, conceal don't feel. I was really gonna need to repeat this in my head so I don't make a fool of myself.
"Alright you guys , go ahead and have a good time!" The bouncer had a great attitude which put us in an even better mood.
As we headed in, Luke tapped my shoulder.
"Hey can I ask you something real quick?" Oh my lord his voice...
"Yeah! What is it?" I tried to sound cheery and there was only a slight waver in my voice.... Damn he was affecting me....
"This may sound odd but... You weren't planning on going off on your own in the crowd tonight were you?" He asked.
"Oh lord no! And have some creep grind on me? No thank you. The only person I'll let grind on me is you." I said with a smirk and started to walk off, but turned around to see Luke still standing there looking shocked and slightly amused with a touch of.... Was that? No.... Lust?
Did I really say that out loud? Oh my lanta I did! I wasn't thinking and just UGH. So much for conceal don't feel. New plan. Continue to flirt with Luke. He makes me so happy and I ... I like him a lot. He's so sweet and makes my life a lot better.
"What are you waiting for breadstick? Come on, let's party! " I grabbed his hand and tugged him over to the dance floor. We started dancing and after a few minutes, or maybe like a half hour, things were heating up. I could see his pupils dilating and we were both loosening up a lot.
Pretty soon he asked, "hey do you wanna go to the back room?"
"Yeah! Let's go." I replied. I was pretty sure I was falling in love. It seemed so soon to me, but I guess we had been talking for awhile.
As we get to the back room, he starts to lean in. This is it, I think. We are going to kiss and it will be amazing. And I was right. I start to lean in too and the next thing I know, our lips are on each other's and we are kissing and its magical. The spark is definitely there and I am so happy I can't help but smile through the kiss. After a little while we pull away.
"Wow." I say.
"Wow is right." He replies. We then decide to leave the room and go back to the dance floor to find the boys. It was getting pretty late and we needed to sleep at least a little.
We stand up and intertwine our fingers slowly.
"Alice?"
"Yeah?"
"I know this is kinda early, but will you... Will you be my girl?"
"Yes Luke! Of course, I'd love to be your girl."
"Good. So now you're my bae-rito."
I chuckled. "Yeah I'm your bae-rito."
Once we found the boys, we piled into the car and headed home. I sat by Luke of course and put my head on his shoulder. The last thing I remember is seeing Luke give Michael a thumbs up in the rear view mirror at a stoplight, since Michael was driving. I smiled and fell asleep with my head on his shoulder and our fingers entwined.

AWW that was so cute!! I hope you guys like it so far! I'm glad I got to rewrite this chapter tbh because I was able to make it so much better. Hopefully you don't think this is too early for them to start dating, I think it'll flow better with the way my ideas for future chapters are.
