Bakugou's POV
We were sat in class when the nerd's phone went off, he really needs to learn how to silence that bloody thing. As Deku tried to find his phone, I was going over our couple's routine to the music that is the nerd's ringtone. Once he finally found his phone he started speaking in Russian which meant that it was one of two people that called him; Victor or Yura.
As the nerd kept talking I started to get a bit concerned, not that I'll admit though, as he started to shake slightly. Due to this I looked up at the clock because if Victor was on the phone it meant that we were late to practice. "Fuck!" I shouted when I saw the time, never have I ever been so glad about being in a study hall session. I quickly packed up mine and the nerd's shit, slung both our bags over my shoulder and grabbed his wrist as I dragged him out of the class room to our lockers. Once we get to our lockers Deku finishes the phone call and we grab our practice bags. "Victor?" I ask as i sling my practice bag on the same shoulder as mine and Deku's school bags.
"Yeah, we're running a bit late for practice." Deku replied as he slung his practice bag on his shoulder and intertwined his hand with mine as we walked out of the school. We didn't bother saying anything to any of the staff as Mr Aizawa knows our rigorous training routine. It can be difficult keeping up with this routine but it is very rewarding when we get to compete in the Grand Prix.
We walked to the Ice Castle ice rink, where we met up with our coaches Victor and Yuri. When we walked into the Ice Castle Victor started yelling at us in Russian which really wasn't great for Deku right now. Deku has been suffering from anxiety attacks and very high levels due to all the high expectations everyone has placed on him. As Victor carried on giving us a lecture the damn nerd started to tremble and shake again, he's having another panic attack. I have to step in to stop Victor making Deku's mental state any worse than it already is.
"VICTOR STOP!" I yelled. Victor stopped yelling at us and looked at me like a dear in head lights. "Can you stop yelling at us. Deku is already struggling enough with high expectations from our teachers and his mom!" I was pissed that Victor hadn't noticed that Deku was shaking. I pulled Deku into a hug as I tried to ground him. "We're here aren't we, it's not like we skipped practice. So if you don't mind we'll be getting changed into our practice gear!" I said as I took Deku to the changing room so that we could get changed.
Yuri walked into the changing room and asked "How's Izuku doing?" as he sat down on one of the benches and put his skates on.
"He'll be fine but I'd suggest that he sits out for a little bit and if Victor has a problem with it, he can come to me. Deku's mental health comes first and it's gonna take a while till I get him fully back on track." I responded to Yuri. I will do whatever to help out my boyfriend, even if that means taking him out of practice for half an hour.
