Shoyo is jumping and bouncing shouting excitedly, Enno looks a little exasperated "calm down will ya, if you don't I'll tell coach your too hurt to play", Shoyo whines, while Kino and Narita chuckle, once Shoyo has calmed again, "now tell us about the cuts" Enno demands.
"OK OK, the cuts are from a barbed whip" Shoyo stats solemnly.
Kino shocked "holy hell"
Narita shocked "shit"
"who" Enno demands, Shoyo looks down and quietly says "dad", "WHAT" Enno screeches, Shoyo trembles when Enno screeched, Kino and Narita hug him and glare at Enno, "shut up, Chikara your scaring him" Narita hisses
"Sorry" Enno hugs Shoyo "when did he start abusing you Sho" Shoyo sighs "trying to mentally abuse me for about 3 years now, the physical abuse started about a month ago" Kino and Narita tighten their hug on him.
Enno looks really confused "why though I don't understand" he asks
"When mom got sick I started writing songs remember?" Shoyo asks him
Enno thinks then replies "yeah, that was about 2 and a half years ago now right?" Shoyo shakes his head "that's when dad told everyone mom was sick, the mental abuse started because I accidentally found out, we argued because I said we should tell you and auntie Chi-nii", Kino looks softly at Shoyo "when and how did you find out"
Shoyo chuckles sadly "I found out about 3 weeks after dad did, I heard dad crying and mom saying her illness wasn't his or my fault".
"Why did your dad think it was his or your fault" Narita asks confused, Enno nods wanting to know as well, "because if she never had me, she wouldn't of become sick, if dad hadn't wanted a child, she wouldn't be sick"
Enno is even more confused, "I'm not understanding I thought she caught a rare disease", "she did" Shoyo stats coldly
Narita- "back to the abuse please, we can discuss the reasons later"
Shoyo stares off over the boys shoulders as he answers "anyway, I was writing songs and selling them to help out, so dad wouldn't be so stressed about money etc, but the opposite happened dad got greedy and too comfortable being at home, I think, he started demanding more and more, he also quit his job, stating and I quote 'my useless son ain't so useless now, you will now support us all' "
The three boys gasp, "what the hell" Kino asks sounding mad
Shoyo doesn't seem to hear him and continues "when mom got hospitalised, I had the money to cover the bill up front, which I did, I then refused to write and sell anymore songs and informed dad, I would stop giving him money"
"When was aunt hospitalised Sho" Enno asks sadly
Shoyo- "5 weeks ago"
"Why didn't you say so you idiot" Enno scolds lightly but sadly
Shoyo looks at Enno " because dad got worse after that all he does is rant, I think he's going mad, the whipping started 2 days ago.
Kino- "thats why there's no old scars"
Enno- "what triggered it Sho?"
Shoyo- "moms last words before she died"
"HOLY HELL SHO, WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY AUNT HAD PASSED" Enno shouts crying, Shoyo starts crying and trembles at the shout, but hugs Enno
"I'm really sorry Chi-nii, I couldn't say it without telling everything, I just couldn't", Kino remembers the song from this morning "Shoyo, the song this morning was about what was happening before 2 days ago isn't it?"
Shoyo sniffs "yes it is, I had just finalised it, when mom passed"
"What was your moms last words" Narita asks calmly
Shoyo smiles while crying, " 'treasure our baby sun, my sunlight' my dad then whispered 'the sunlight is now dead without its core to keep it alive' "
The three boys gasp
Enno- "oh crap"
Kino- "indeed"
Narira- "I think we should tell the team about your mom passing"
Shoyo tilts his head "why?"
Enno- "I can answer that and we should tell them we are related aswell, the reason being Suga is worried about you and if suga noticed, so have other people" Shoyos eyes widen "oh crap, can we tell them on the bus tomorrow and can I stay at yours tonight Chi-nii?"
Enno laughs "of course, we'll go to yours and grab your stuff ok"
Shoyo nods " please don't tell dad that you know, not until we tell aunty"
"ok ok, are you 2 coming with us" Enno asks the other two boys
Both kino and Narita say in unison "hell yes", "right then, we'll go to shos, then kinos, then Naritas, and we'll sleep at mine, agreed"
The 3 boys "agreed"
