01| Introducing me

Dani's POV

Hi, I'm Danielle but I perfer Dani. I'm 15 years old and live in North Carolina. I go to a high school called Oak High. My mom is always away on business trips and my dad left us when I was 4. I have an older sister named Avia. She is 17 and is the oppisite of me. She is beautiful popular and athletic. I don't really have alot of memories of my dad but I do remember a few like it happend yesterday. I sometimes wish I wasn't alive. I get bullied everyday by my 4 bullies. Hayes, Nash, Matthew, and Cameron. Hayes is the youngest and just really is a follower to them. He playes on the football and lacrosse team. Hayes is popular but not as popular as the other 3. Matthew is the nicest out of them all but still is an asshole. He also is on the football team and also is popular. Nash is the second scariest and the 2nd popular at the school. He is also on the lacrosse and football team. He also is captain for the lacrosse team. And for Cameron he is the leader of the group also the scariest and Captain of the Football team. It's kinda weird. Hayes and Nash come to the school and then like go back to another school. I have no clue why though. They don't always bully me only when there here. All of the girls of course are all over them like always except for me. I'm just an outcast the only friend I have is Shawn, Shawn Mendes. We met back in kindergarden. It actually is a funny story how me met. Well I atleast think it is. This is how we met.

*First day of Kindergarden*

"Dani come on you're going to be late!" my mom yelled walking down stairs.

"I'm coming!" I yelled running down the stairs

*Outside the class room door*

"Bye Dani be have. I'll pick you up after class right here. Okay?" My mom said giving me a kiss on the forehead

"Okay! Bye mom love you!" I said running inside the classroom

I ran up to a group of girls and introduced myself.

"Hi i'm Dani! Wanna be friends?" I said holding my hand out

"Eww no! You have a boy name go play with the boys ugly!" The girls said turning around

"That wasn't very nice!' I said frowning

"GO AWAY WE DON'T LIKE YOU!!!" The girls yelled

I walked away with tears in my eyes. As I was walking I bumped into someone and fell flat on my butt.

"Hey!!!!" The boy said crossing his arms

"I'm sorry." I said sniffling

"What's wrong?" The boy asked helping me up

"Those girls over there are being mean!" I said wiping my tears

"What did they tell you?" The boy asked in a sad tone

"They told m-me that I have a-a boy's name. A-and that they didn't like m-me." I croaked

"Well let's them a piece of my mind!" The boy said pointing his finger angryliy.

"Hey! You girls over there!! Be nice to... What's your name?" He whispered to me

"Dani." I said with my hands behind my back

"Be nice to Dani! Or else I will tell you're mom!" He said raising his voice.

"We don't like her she is not our friend!" One of the girls said

"Who cares just leave her alone!" He said yelling

"Fine!" The girls said walking away

"Thanks.... What's you're name?" I asked smiling

"I'm Shawn." He said smiling

"Thank you Shawn! Wanna be friends?" I said smiling

"Sure!" he said hugging me

*Present Day*

Well that's how I met Shawn and he is my bestfriend still to this day.
