03| New Me

Dani's POV

Avia took me to the mall and we went to the salon.

"Avia you don't have to do this." I said while the lady was washing my hair

"Yes I do I don't like to see you hurt. We need to get back at the boys."

"How?" I asked clueless

"Exscuse me? I'm sorry to intterupted but what color do you want me to dye her hair?" The hairstylist asked

"Dark Brown." Avia said smiling. My original hair color was dirty blonde.

"Okay." The lady said smiling

"Thanks Avia." I said smiling

"No problem little sis." Avia said smiling

"Wow. My hair looks nice." I said looking in the mirror

"Now let's do you're eybrows." 

I sat down and the lady reclined my chair and started doing my eyebrows.

"Ow!" I whimpered

"I'm sorry miss." The lady said

The lady finished my eyebrows. Avia payed and we walked out and went to Forever 21.

"Now let's get you a new waredrobe. Hmm." Avia said studying clothes

"OOhhh this! And this! And that!" Avia said giving me a big pile of crop tops and highwasted shorts and skirts.

"They look beautiful!" I said looking the mirror

"Come on let's go to Pacsun!" Avia said as we walked out and payed

We picked out a bunch of outfits and went to Starbucks. We later got home and I past out. I was sooo tired. 

"I met this girl late last year she said don't you worry if I dissappear I told her I'm not really looking for another mistake."    My alarm sang I went to the restroom brushed my teeth and curled my hair loosely. I changed into 

High wasted shorts

White cropped cami

Blue cardigan 

White hightop converse

I checked in the mirror and actually felt good about myself. I did light make up. Mascara, concealer, and eyeliner. I walked downstairs grabbed a yogurt and walked out the door. As I walked onto the campus a lot of people starred. I even heard a few wolf whistles. I saw Cameron and my heart beat so fast.

'Hey cutie!" Cameron said grabbing my hand

"What?" I asked in shock

"What's your name?" Cameron said pushing me against the wall

"Danielle." I said smirking

"That's a beautiful name." Cameron said leaning in

"Ugh no." I said putting my finger on his lips

"Why not you're sexy." He whispered in my ear leaving shivers down my spine and giving me goosebumps. I walked away towards my locker and got my stuff I turned around and saw Nash smiling at me.

"Hey." Gage said smiling

"Hi." I said as I was walking to class

"You're gorgeous what's your name?" Gage said follwing me from behind

"Danielle." I said while walking. I saw lots of people staring at me.

"We should hang out sometime." Gage said 

"Yeah I don't know." I said stopping

"Why not? Babe." Gage said smiling. Eww Babe. I thought to myself

"I need to go." I said walking away and rolling my eyes

"I walked into class and saw Shawn sitting in his spot next to me.

"Hey um sorry but that spot is taken already." Shawn said 

"Shawn." I said rolling my eyes

"How do you know my name?" Shawn asked weirded out

"Shawn. It's me Dani." I whispered

"Dani?" He asked shocked

"Yep." I said smiling

"You- you look so different." Shawn said still shocked

"Stop drooling." I said closing his mouth

"Why? Did you change?" He asked

"Because Shawn I'm tired of getting bullied."

"Please don't change for anybody Dani." Shawn said

"I didn't I just changed my appearance." I said smirking

"Whatever." Shawn said laughing

"How does it feel to have all the boys stare at you?" Shawn said smiling

"It feels weird. But great. But weird." I said looking around

After class ended I walked to History and sat down in my usual spot. The boys sat surronding me. I pulled out my diary and started writing.

Dear Diary, 

Today I feel sooo different. But it's a good different. I finally feel confident in myself. Everyone is confused no one knows who I am. But that's good. Cameron and Gage were hitting on me when I walked onto the campus. I don't think they know it's me. I'm going to laugh when I see their reaction. Some people even started talking to me. It's strange. I like the new me. Thank you Avia! 

"Hey Beautiful." Matthew said from behind

"Hi." I sternly said

"Wow someone's a bit fiesty. I like that." Matthew said wiggling his eyebrows

"Matthew shut up she's mine." Cameron snapped

"No she's mine." Gage snapped

"Since when?" Matthew said

"Since earlier today!" Cameron said

"No! She's mine." Gage said

"Shut up!! I'm none of you're guy's i'm not a toy." I snap

"You don't even know who I am!" I snapped

"Yeah you're Danielle." Gage said 

"I'm Dani." I said

"Dani?" Cameron said with his eyes wide

"Oh my god." Gage whispered

"Gross." Matthew said from behind

"But why did you change?" Cameron said

"Because i'm tired of getting beat by you guys!" I said with glossy eyes

"Oh." Gage said

"Yeah." I snapped

"Now leave me alone." I said sniffling

"Well let's pretend this didn't happen." Gage said as he slumped back into his chair

We walked to our next class which was science. I walked into class and had Cameron in that class.

"Okay so class we are going to do a project. I have assigned you partners. Jake and Melanie. Shawn and Kat. Cameron and Dani... Ben and Paige." My teacher continued

Omg did I hear right. I do NOT wanna work with Cameron.

"Hey partner." Cameron said with an evil smirk on his face. Oh no.
